Course Curriculum Overview

I liked doing civil works and field works and am also good at drawing that is why I have chosen civil. Our university has an excellent faculty for civil and they also have many faculty members. Surprise tests are held 4 times throughout the semester and 1-semester exam is held at the end of the semester.

Internships Opportunities

The Cell organizes certain orientation programmes, grooming sessions, mock interview sessions for students of each stream. Besides, the Cell organizes various summer internship programmes for students to provide them with hands-on experience and introducing them to the professional environment.

Placement Experience

From 7 the semester the students become eligible for sitting or applying for placement many companies came like TSC infotech and others .avarage package of 5 LAP is offered and it increases. I am preparing to give government exam after completing my degree

For 4 years we have to pay 4.8 lakh approx it includes tuition fees service fees library and other co curricular activities fees .institution also provide scholarships and financial aid and provide placement

Every other day celebration happens and tech festivals also happens. your Library provides immense no of books and great accessibility classroom are also big their are clubs we have gungroo for dance resonance for singing anubhab for acting prabashana for painting and other activities inter department also happens once a year

Admission

Need to be a PCM student and have to take the WBJEE exam and have a rank above 50000. can also take an admission through JEE Mains. Wbjee is held once a year and jee mains is held twice a year. Forms are available in the Internet you have to search for it

IIT KGP: The kgpian way

Placement Experience:

4 yr btech students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of their 3rd yr(5th sem) and for placement 7th sem. 5 yr dual degree students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of 4th yr(7th sem) and for placement 9th sem. So many different profile companies came for placements like amazon, google, ibm, apple, l&t, wipro, infosys, texas intrument, etc. Highest package was 3cr and average is about 20-25 lakhs. Insightful Review - Revealing about campus life and academics.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semeter. Companies visited till now are : tejes - 9lpa, keysite - 7lpa, streebo - 5lpa and a few other product based companies with average pakage offered about 3lpa. Higest pakage - salesforce (32 lpa) off campus, keysite (7lpa) on campus. Last year 60% of total students from final year got placed. My plans is to purusue a higher degree as placement scene of your college is not that great and also i have intrest in ai/ml so i want to study future and dive more deep into its concepts

The course curriculum is not that different from other colleges. At the beginning or 1 st semester we are made to complete the bridge course which basically includes stuff we read in classes 11 and 12. But then also they can't teach properly the already read topics.

I applied to plenty of state engineering colleges and only made it to UIT, BU which has awful facilities and a good ragging culture. So I opted out and went to a private college. Among private colleges, as far as I know, WB, IEM and Heritage are considered to be better. IEM's strict uniform code, zero campuses made me choose Heritage over IEM. The admission process is 1) Through West Bengal Joint counselling, which I went through, 2) Management Quota. I have also applied in other states college like satyabhama of Chennai by giving the entrance and JEE mains for NIT and IIT and I have also give the webjee exam my score is quite good and and I have chosen this college over other colleges because of its number one college in the West Bengal and it have quite good campus comparison to others West Bengal colleges. My JEE score was not that good and my webjee score is quiet good so I prefer the college that is best comes with my score.
