Relevance of course is kinnd of appropiate. Basics of outcomes that one expects are taught well, then its upto student how he want to specialize for the industry. If notes can be brought into practice,it can be more helpful for the students

Swiggy offered 40k / month, goldman sachs was also there, wipro also offered, josh tech offered 35k per month, LG and LG soft also arrived with approx 15-20k permonth. Most were for the roles of SDE and Analyst.

Placement Experience

Placements used to be good, they are still above average, but overcrowding of students has increased load on placement cell and recession is also there. Even after all the odds the above average student are able to crack companies. Highest is 56LPA and average is around 6LPA. 72% is percentage of placed students. Various companies like TCS, deloiite, sagacious, belzabar, buzzclan, swiggy, shaadi.com etc. visited

Fees and Financial Aid

A lot of financial assistance is available. you can take cucet exam and can get upto 50% off on fees. Also if you represent university at national or international stage your post-graduation is fully sponsored. Total cost per year is somewhat around 3LPA including college fees, hostel fees and daily expenses

Campus Life

Campus life is just phenomenal. I was part of NCC and got to participate in various events, meet famous celebrities, political figures and what not. Every now and then there is some kind of event going on in the campus.

Admission

Its pretty easy to take admission over here. aEverything related to admission is present over google and application fees is comparitvely low and geneerally its in month of jul. Not much aware of reservation benefits. Frequency of exams are once in a month and decreasing the batch size could be helpful for college

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
