Remarks

There was a invitation mail for applying for Mba analytics. After filling form there was shortlisted mail based on score gender undergraduate diversity etc. After that there was PI whose result was announced after 2 weeks. There was document verification after this. The verification had medical fitness certificate only from a government approved hospital along with scorecard verification.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had experience in software engineering so I was interested in the data analytics field. The curriculum has analytics subjects like Tableau, Power BI, R Hadoop, Kafka and Python. It's very relevant to the industry

Internships Opportunities

The companies offer role of consultant, management intern, Sales and marketing intern along with finance intern roles. IT companies dominate in internship offering lucrative roles in IT fields as well. Companies like GSK, MAQ, Cinepolis and PUMA come for internship.

Placement Experience

The placements are fairly good and the average package is 18 lakh per annum. There are more companies coming in operating and marketing roles as compared to other domains. Companies like Deloitte, Accenture Strategy, Bank of America come here for placements

Fees and Financial Aid

There is scholarship available that's purely based on merit and marks scored in the first semester. The college provides loans through its bank partner that is SBI at a good discount rate, most students avail College loan through that only

Campus Life

The campus iss very big and green. First years may have to share the rooms. In second year you will get single rooms with all facilities like washing machine microwave balcony and attached bathrooms with hot water supply

The hostel provides washing machine microwave and heating facility.Rooms have balcony and attached bathrooms. For first year sharing is there for second year there is single occupancy. The mess provides 3 times meals - snacks dinner and breakfast.

No group discussion was there there was only PI was conducted that was based on work experience and questionnaire that was provided prior to that by admission team. It contained data science related questions

Campus life

Placement Experience:

For masters student student from 3rd semester are eligible for the campus placement. For bachelor students from 6-7 semester students are eligible for the campus placement. Federal bank, taj hotel, Techmutant software solutions, cradlewise, patanjali, etc. many more companies are there which visit the campus. There is 60-70% criteria for students to get the placement as 60% are the eligibility criteria for many companies and some companies have 70% eligibility criteria for the placement. Our university has 85% placement in dehradun region as compared to other universities. My plans are taking a good job and work hard to become independent.

i think from 3 rd semsester students are eligble for campus placements iam from 1 sem thats why i didnt eligble for that higest is like 20 lakhs and lowest is 3 lakhs per anam they show 90 percent but actually only 10 percent of students get placed i am planning to get a job ncr

At the end of end semesters college started to get internship and their are a number of them of every type. Students should choose it of any kind. For placement companies started to come in collage in 3rd semesters and one should apply for placement. Till now many companies were there including 99acers, Arvind fasion, Wipro, Google and so on.

MBA at Doon University

Admission:

When you are selected through your CAT you need to pass through the GD and PI round. The topic of GD is related to current affairs and we were given 20 minutes. The PI round was for about 15 minutes and general questions were asked about my academics, my experience etc. I gave some mock interviews which helped me a lot for these rounds.

The IIM of the North

I found the admission process easier (Level Medium on Difficulty scale). The process started with the CAT application form, then the CAT exam, followed by a call letter for an Interview and then the selection email. No, specifically I haven't received any counselling related to IIM Kashipur or other IIM institutes. But the first advantage I saw was there were a lot of industries visit the IIM Kashipur campus.
