Remarks

For me, this is a good college and well qualified and knowledgeable. faculties are good. There is two library one is central(general & honors both) and another seminar library(for honors). total honors students able to borrow 3 books.2 books from the central library and 1 book from seminar library.General/pass students can borrow 2 books from the central library.

Entrance Preview

I opted for this college because it is popularly known as city college. It is a well-organized infrastructure and great facilities giving by them. From my locality there are many students passed out from Prafulla Chandra college, their marks and educational experience said to me that this college is nice so that is the reason for opting for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose commerce honors in Accounting and finance and it was a good decision for me. Practical learning was very nice. No research initiative was taken by the institute. There are many elective options available such as marketing, geography, history and many more.

Internships Opportunities

No, the college does not provide any internships. Our college Prafulla Chandra currently does not provide any internships. Maybe there is a chance to provide internships in the future but for the time being there is no internships in this college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, fees structure is feasible as compare to their facilities.we can say that fees are not expensive. But yes fees is greater than other colleges. After every final exam ends the college toom the provisional admission and when the Final payments made that provisional amount is less with the Main amount. College took tuition fees every 6 months

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college provides the scholarship.I was availed of this facility in 1st year from National scholarship portal which is verified by the college in institution level of verification.

Campus Life

3.5

Yes, extracurricular activities have in this college like NSS, NCC, Quiz competition and first aid course from st. john Ambulance and its also provide the certificate. I was also taking part in this which is nice. Campus life is great enjoying. They provide a small ground for playing football and have a small basketball court and they also provide carrom boards.

Alumni/Alumna

No, I didn't interact with alumni. No, the college does not provide a proper platform. Yes, they definitely contribute to the college in development. But senior students helpful and knowledgeable.

Exam Structure

No, the exams and labs are not so frequent, i do not feel tired of the day and by the way my college is an evening college. Definitely, it is a chill culture. Exam structure is nice. They took the internal exam as per the rule of CU.Every exams taken by college time to time no any further delays

Admission

First of all the 12 passed out students from any stream(Arts, commerce, science) are need to submit thier application. Then need to pay Application fees through onlice or offline. After ends of Submission of all applications within last date then the college publish Merit list according to Students Best of Four marks %.Now the merit listed students need to pay fees in bank. After then Students need to come for documents verification. Now the students admitted in the college completely

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell club which functions in the college itself which is efficient in providing over 67 to 98% of students with placements. This percentage can vary for different years and different courses. The college has been successful in attracting top recruiters like deloitte, wipro, TCS, and leader companies from various other sectors. Packages vary significantly from 4 to 6 LPA up to 24LPA. After getting my degree i am planning to first make sure that i have completed my CA course that i am pursuing alongside. And then going ahead with either a job outside kolkata or open a business in kolkata itself.

I always want to build my career in commerce and my aim is to be a chartered accountant. So I took this course because the syllabus of CA and B.com is the same. our college faculties are so helpful. They always come forward to resolve our academic and nonacademic doubts. Their teaching methods are also good. we don't need to purchase any book, their notes are enough for our syllabus.
