Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is not so good as because syllabus is not completed by timing and the duration Between the exams are not enough for the students and the level of difficulties are far more compared to other universities

I have done my graduation from prafulla Chandra college ( University of Calcutta) I took admission in year 2021 at that time, I paid around 4200 as admission fees and my one year fees after one year, in my second year, I paid around 5000 and same for the third year no scholarship provided and same fees for batch mates also in every category

Campus Life

The campus life of mine was not so exciting because there were no curtular fest yes but there was good number sports tournament if any one is interested in sports they can choose this as their one the option

The main and the Major factor that I choose this college over other is the fees and the other colleges that I was getting are 1. Bhawanipur education society - reason not to choose this college is because of high fees 2 jaipuria college - I couldn't clear the cut off 3. Hermaba Chandra college - college timings was not acording to my preference

The relationship Between college students and the professor are not so connecting as they don't communicate more to students but on professor Dr.Prashatna Paul is one of the best teacher in my college her main stream is marketing and provide best teaching techniques

It's been a wonderful experience until now, hope the same.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This cource future is a unique opportunity. All the teachers of our college are very friendly with students. You can share your problems at any time, and they always try to solve problems. All the teachers have a very strong background in their studies and they are well-experienced in teaching. In the classroom, they are providing a projector by which we can remember the topic for a long time. They are also providing very good quality notes so that you can score better in exams. This is a 3 year course. There are 6 semesters in one. It is difficult to pass if you do not study well.

It is my great pleasure to write for this prestigious College. Budge Budge College was established on 10th December’ 1971. Initially the college was located in a different location with few classrooms. Later it was shifted to its present position. This College was lucky to have the famous writer late Narayan Ganguly as its Founder President of the Governing Body and the founder principal was late Prof. Prithwis Dutta. The college has played its role since all these years for the development of education in the suburbs of Kolkata. The township of Budge Budge itself has its own significance in the field of culture and freedom movement of India. The College is located in the vicinity of Budge Budge Railway Station and occupies an important position in the locality. Hence to serve the students in the larger area has been possible for the College. Day by day this College has created its own aura and significance in spreading education in West Bengal particularly to the middle class & lower middle class families. Students of this College come from all spheres of society. We have large numbers of female students to take care of. Most of our students are well established in their life and playing their role as good citizens. I feel honoured to be the Principal of such a College. Remarks:

Affialted to North Bengal University the education is good here. Even though being a government College there is no political activities. The college is free from strikes. The teachers are well qualified. The fees is relatively very less.

The ground of our college is way too short. Rather not too short but not enough. The infrastructure is good. We have own individual departments for every stream or courses. The buildings are much big.

Well I applied to many colleges around 4-5 like Prafulla Chandra college, Bhawanipur Education Society, Jaipuriya college, Hetambo chandra college. I got admit from bhawanipur education first but I choosed prafulla over it cause it is a government college and it's quite cheaper than bhawanipur college and I didn't got admit from other colleges . Exploring College Life: Unveiling the Prafulla Chandra Experience

Well there wasn't any as such entrance exam in our college(Prafulla Chandra College). Admission forms were distributed in the college portal and we had to chenk and fill it up. We had to mention our 10th and 12th grade with best of 4 marks. The eligibility criteria was to have atleast 40 marks(H.S) in the subject in which honours is to be taken. Rather than that we must have had atleast 40 marks in the language paper(H.S). We had to attach our marksheets of 10th and 12th board exam as .jpeg format. The fees of B.COM Hons. is 5500/- yearly basis. For B.COM General is around 5000/- yearly. After 12th examamination college updates its application form and uploard it in the college portal. Rather than B.COM we've B.A and B.SC streams too. Students can select their language in the 1st semester only i.e, english/bengali. Sice it's a night college, attendence is not an issue.
