Course Curriculum Overview

4

the specific aspect of the curriculum such as courses in aerodynamics, propulsion systems, avionics, and space technology, are likely to appeal to students interested in aerospace engineering and kiit provides a wide range of subjects to make student's foundation strong and make him/ her ready for the future. the curriculum is made in such a way that every is covered in aspects of practical and theoretical knowledge. areas of improvement can be the interdisciplinary approach towards the course with other field knowledge like computer science, and environmental engineering to enhance curriculum breadth and applicability. industry collaboration can be increased in the aerospace field to incorporate the current industry practices. the teaching method is so good that every subject is evenly clear in students mind and if their is any doubt then classes are also taken for that. the frequeny anf timing of exams are ideally balanced by the faculty so that student can grasp concepts and prepare

Internships Opportunities

5

different departments have different internship programs for students. talking about the aerospace department college has given me and others opportunities to work in govt organizations like HAL(Hindustan Aeronautics Limited), DRDO, Skyroot, and many more. in many companies, you also get paid as per your work. the internship program is prepared for the students so that they have at least 2 months of experience. the projects like Recovery parachute systems, liquid propulsion systems, solid propulsion engines, and many more. in Computer science the projects in DSA, java, web development, html, and many more like this. you will have a good amount of experience after doing these kinds of internships with top MNCs and organizations

Placement Experience

4.5

You are eligible for placements in 4th year or 3rd year last semester. companies like Deloitte, amazon, mu sigma, My Captain, Tata Advanced System, Tata Power, and many more companies. there are more than 250+ companies that do come for the placements process. so the placement here provided is excellent with an average package of 600000 LPA which goes up to 2500000 LPA. The highest package gone till now is RS. 4200000 LPA. and every year around 95% of students get placed. and the remaining to opt for higher studies in foreign universities like cranfield university, Mit University, Standford University, and many more. my plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies. i got offer from Cranfield university.

Fees and Financial Aid

the tuition fees are prepared in such a manner that a student can manage it by himself or by taking an education loan. and the price increase is in every 2 years seeing the scenario of the university intake. the complete cost of education is around 14 lakhs excluding hostel charges. the scholarships are provided to students whole secured a good rank in kiitee exams and to backward class students. there are many scholarships you can avail. it is provide in the website.

Campus Life

5

Many technical events go on throughout the year like Mechanical Techfest, computer science tech-fest, kiit Fest 7.0 is the recent one. there are many libraries that every student can avail. every department has library access to their students and their is one whole 10-floor central library for students in which you have access to a digital library, journals, e-books, and many more. the college has its own cricket ground, volleyball ground, 8 basketball grounds, swimming pools and many more sports facilities. there are more than 35 + social groups and clubs under KSAC(Kiit Student Activity Centre). the campus life of kiit is so amazing that i am gonna miss these days so badly.

Hostel Facilities

4

the hostel facilities are pretty good starting from 3 bed non-ac to ac premium. the college has given us so many options to choose from as per our requirements. the hostel meal quality is good and have a variety of menu options giving us good nutrition. the registration process is simple, first, you have to opt for the hostel of your choice and then pay the registration fees of RS.15000 for which a bedsheet, mattress, blanket, mug, and bucket are provided, and after that hostel charges start from RS.50000 to RS. 100000. and if you don't want to stay in a hostel and want a pg or rented flats you can also see that. the pg are pretty good here. having the option of AC and NON-AC as per your requirement. the rented flats are also affordable.

Admission

The admission process at Kiit University commences with an online application form, necessitating personal and academic details alongside document uploads. kiitee, the iniversity's entrance exam, assesses candidates on subjects relevent to their chosen programs. cut off marks fluctuate yearly based on factors like exam difficulty and program availability, with qualifying scores advancing applicants to counseling. counselling sessions, driven by exam performance, allocate seats based on the ranks and prefernece. despite its efficiency, challenges exist, notably the fierce competition among the applicants for limited spots , particularly in sought after programs. some critique the sole reliance on standardized testing, advocating for more holistic evaluation encompassing extracurricular and personal attributes. additionally, technical glitches during the online process can impede application submissions. to navigate these challenges you must be thorough prepared for securing a spot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* I had chosen to do mechanical engineering because I had some bond with machines and it's designing and was also aware with the scopes of mechanical engineering. * In real world the curriculum helped me a lot and still it is helpful, currently I'm preparing for position of junior engineer and there it is quite helpful for me. * I don't think any improvement is required in the course curriculum and teaching methods as everything was good at its place and it's also the responsibility of us (students) to know our curriculum thoroughly and give our best. * Exams were conducted at an interval of 6 months and as said earlier exams conducted were moderate level not too difficult or easy and with studies it can be cleared easily

Placement Experience:

Placements at KIIT University for B.Tech CSE are decent and well structured, especially for students who prepare consistently. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, although pre placement talks training sessions and internships start from the 5th or 6th semester. The university has a centralized placement cell that coordinates training aptitude tests mock interviews and company drives. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year including TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini Deloitte EY Mindtree LTI Bosch HP Amazon and a few product based startups. Mass recruiters make a large number of offers while product and service based companies offer selective roles. The average package for CSE students usually ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package can go above 20 to 25 LPA in exceptional cases depending on the company and role such as software developer or data engineer. Around 75 to 85 percent of CSE students get placed through campus placements. Students who remain unplaced usually pursue higher studies startups off campus jobs or competitive exam preparation. Placement success largely depends on individual effort coding skills internships and communication ability. After completing my degree I plan to work in the software industry to gain practical experience and improve my technical skills. Alongside my job I also plan to upskill in advanced technologies and later consider higher studies or specialized roles depending on career growth.

Campus placement i thik it's in your 4 year of engineering only i.e in your 6 semester. There is a lot of companies visited like jsw ,hindulgo and a lot to go . Jsw provides avg package of INR 12 LPA And it selected only 2 students only. I think girls get placement easily as compared to boys ... companies usually select more female candidates....I think I will go for job rather than doing masters degree.
