Course Curriculum Overview

Relatively IIITB has the best curriculum in Bangalore .This factor along with package attracts a lot of students . The course curicullum could work on delivery and pace of professors but lokking at the bigger picture IIITB offers a better and real world IT curicullum

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 480000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is really high and hostel stay is mandatory. Girls have some extent of fee waivers and scholarships but the rest have nothing. From third year onwards TAship could give you around 15000 a year but looking at the bigger picture it is really high. Placements in the is th eonly major relief unless you are already rich.

Campus Life

Seniors and college environment is really good. There is a strong community and if used to your advantage can really help boost character and your overall well-being. Nobody cares about what you do inside, you are free. The clubs, committees and fests are good and still growing .Debsoc,dance club ,quiz are among the few that are growing at a rapid pace.

Admission

Admission was through my JEE main rank. We had to enter details on the website and there is no reservation all ,merit based. All details are there on the college website . After cutoffs come you have to pay registration fees and admission fees and further details are informed later.

Placement Experience:

This is the best part. The whole point of niat program is to get a study for the job. It's not like the old system where you chill for 3 years and panic in the 4th year. All the learning here are very different. From the first day itself we will be doing coding.

IIIT-B A HUB OF INNOVATION AND EXPERIENCE

So I was getting IIT Mandi Mechanical , VIT-CSE ,IIIT-Allahabad- ECE(CSAB) but i chose this college because of the quality of education and the course curriculum along with the good placement every year and when i consulted and talked with many people who are working in industry they told that CSE is the future branch so yeah and also the city is banglore itself which impacts very much and also i thought that when i am getting CSE in a tier -1 institute it is best to take it over other options. IIIT-B provides UG admission on the basis of only JEE Mains CRL, there is no reservation policy here , the cutoff for BT-CSE was about CRL-8700 (99.4 percentile approx) the overall admission process is very smooth it mostly online and we also have one offline campus round in which we can sure shot confirm our seat ....Read More

IIITB, only one more i but no less opportunity

1) I applied to NIT Rourkela via jossa cousneling and got addmisson there. i chose this college because of its placement data and review about fauclty that i got. 2) No i did not apply to many colleges as there was no need to because of my jee percentile. 3) Admision process is very simple. College prepares their internal rank list woth respect to students who have applied and their JEE crl rank. after that every student in line is given chance to choose their brach(respect to availabiltiy of branch).
