What Students Say

Likes

There are continuous events happening both cultural and sports
There is less competition for everything as no of seats are less as compared to other govn colleges
Hostels and lecture halls are close to each other so you dont have to waste much time in going from one place to another

Dislikes

Very bad infrastructure considering it is an NIT
Mess food is really bad ,there is only one canteen which also dont provide much options
Outdoor sports facilities are bad ,as there as no ground for football as well as cricket

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses are with par with the modern technologies and all the professors in the course are highly qualified from big institution. The environment for the course is on high level as it is a National level college . There are labs for all the studies to learn practically. We have semester based exams.

Class Size: 46Course Fees: INR 480000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees is 62500 for each sem with annual family income above 5 lakhs. Below 1 lakhs tution fees is Between 1 and 5 lakhs it is around 30k. The mess and hostel fee is same for all categories that is 39k rupees. Yes there are few opportunities of scholarship for those students who are eligible for it. I was not eligible so i dont know much.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is not as good as you would imagine from a nit ,but you get used to it. Campus life also in return is not up to the satisfactory mark. If we talk about the social life at NIT UK its good because of it having less no of students you will get to know almost eberyone here

Admission

Admission process was really easy , professor's were really co-operative and told us how to fill all the required details. It took only almost 2 hours in the entire process . It is allotted through counseling of Jee mains examination

MY COLLEGE AND ITS FACILITIES

Course Curriculum Overview:

Its environment friendly behaviour, Education and Gate rank especially helps me to choose this college . They helps in tackling real life applications by teaching us about the real life situation sometime by seminar hall 3-D representation and sometime by robotic club and sports activities . Some professors are the student of my college only their teaching attitude is not so good they should replace. Difficult questions are not there in the exam if you have gone through the lecture then you can easily solve all the questions . 3hrs. is the timing set in the semester exam

Good place for your undergraduate degree

Placement Experience:

placements are good here with a avg package of 5 lakhs but students who work reall hard get placemnts more than 10 lakhs the highest package at my time was of 58 lakhs and many got 10-20 lakhs package as well so i say placements aare decent here. Companies such as oracle adobe palalto visits here and they give higher packages to students.

Placement Experience:

After completing 3rd year students are offered for internship.From my university, placement offer for Btech students with an average package of 3 to 4 lakh. placement rates vary by program and year ,with some reporting over 70%placement with average salary of 2-3 lakh. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro,Tech Mahindra Etc. About 50-60%students got scholarship. Talking about the top roles that offered are software developer,data scientist and system analyst . After completing my course I,ll try to get on campus placement.

Even though the college is not good at Nirf rankings, it has good placements. I choose this college for the placements and good environment. I rejected Iiit guwahati because I thought Nit has greater preference for placements and less fees. All about NIT Uttarakhand

I chose this college because i have the state quota for this state(Uttarakhand). I expect to get CS here but unfortunately i got ECE.Also a tag is NIT will be benificial if future. In comparision to other NITs this college doesn't have its own campus which is bad (college life sucks here). Placement were decent in online time(2021 - 2022) but now the placements are becoming worst. For CSE branch it is decent but for other branches its very poor.
