The course of MBBS is tough but with this calm and soothing environment of the college it doesn't seem to be tough . Curriculum prepares you perfectly for the practical application. Exam frequency is - 1st internal , 2nd internal , pre professional exam and then comes the university exam , in a year .

Compulsory internship has to be done with in the hospital North eastern Indira Gandhi regional institute of health and medical sciences . Salary that is paid during the internship is Rs 27500 per month .

Tuition fee structure is 16600 / year Scholarship is available for schedule caste and scheduled tribe people but not for general people . No hostel fees are there . Rs 3720 per month is the mess fees . Once you go to the internship your salary is Rs 27500 per month . Then after mbbs completion you can go for junior residency with in our hospital, where u get paid Rs 1.15 L per month . You can also go for postgraduate degree where u get paid the same amount of 115000 .

The name of the annual event that occur is EUPHORIA. Which is one of the biggest event even among other colleges. Because it's an intercollege event. All other events are being celebrated. Indoor stadium available for sports . As such outdoor stadium is not available but there are so many ground where u can play . Central library is available where all the books u need are available. Timings 9am to 9 pm .

In the hostel from 2nd year onwards u get single room . In 1st year u get double rooms . Rooms are very large and we'll accommodated with all the furniture. Lift facility is available inside the hostel .

You have to clear the neet ug examination. Then there are total 50 seats 8 AIQ , 18 Northeast quota seats are available, in this all 2 quota all seats are unreserved , rest are reserved for different states , after getting neet result , you have to go through the aill India counseling and for North East quota you have to send all your required documents through the speed post . You have to keep an eye one the official website of NEIGRIHMS where they release the prospectus and all the required procedures to be done for the admission . College has a great landscape with enormously large campus . Examination facility is too good and everyone is cooperative. As per the weather concern 9 months of the year temperature is around 20-25 degree , during Dec , Jan , Feb it's around 10-2 degrees. Examinations are held thrice a year . There is nothing that I didn't like about the admission process because everyone was extraordinarily cooperative. If ur choosing this hill station, it's paradise .
