Likes

The faculty, the environment n friends specially the bond with some of our understanding teacher.
The hostel is amazing and no doubt it is perfect for introvert and both extrovert
The classmates n classroom, they are so fine n we are very good friend.

Dislikes

Mess food is disgusting and sometimes comes raw.
The mess fees they take around 3720 every month.
Too much to study for exam sometimes otherwise its totally fine.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very much appreciated and very good it is very nice to meet many aspirants in the college n the college rules are very strict and very good we are not getting any better than this environment anywhere it is so peaceful n good environment. The teacher are so Patience and kind

Internships Opportunities

The internship available is for the students who pass out from final years in the college n i don't know about the outsiders but for internship they pay them also since im a second year students i Don really have idea about the internship here.

Fees and Financial Aid

To me the college fee's are average it takes 16,000 per year n take exam fees and Also hostel fee's sometimes we don't get our scholarship on time. We are not getting our last year scholarship from national scholarship portal till now.

Campus Life

Many festival are conducted here but the little unfair part is we get holidays for holi, durga puja and all but we get Christmas vacation only on 26 December which is after Christmas. We have several clubs like singing, dancing, drama and sports as well. We also have a college fest once a year.

Hostel Facilities

Hospital n hostel facility are very good. The college make sure that we are all getting the best from their side. We have single room n get privacy n less disturbance so that is why i like Neigrihms so much more than others

Hostel Fee: INR 3720 per year

Admission

I scored 410 in neet exam through ST quota in my state nagaland. the exam was taken once a year n i got through after taking a year gap. The admission was strictly followed n it was good experience On admission many test was done like urine sample, blood drawing n etc. After that we were allowed to stay in hostel n after 2 days of my admission oriantation program started n after one week of orientation classes was taken.

I chose MBBS because I wanted to be the first doctor in my family. I feel happy whenever I get to interact with patients. Like every other medical College neigrihms also has attached hospital which enables application of practical knowledge via the patients. The exams are a little bit tough . Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculums include theory and clinics. Theory is done in the morning and clinics in the noon and practical in the afternoon. This curriculum is quite good to prepare us to become a good doctor, both in studies and in clinical practice. As the world is evolving in terms of technology, I believe there must be a more innovative way of teaching making use of all the technologies available for teaching such as PowerPoint, 3d models (real and virtual), etc. There must also be proper ventilation, cooling system, etc to help the students cope up with the weather of the college. There are 4 exams in a year which to me are too much. Besides the NEET PG exam will be MCQs so what is the point of doing objective questions and answers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Neigrihms is a central college, its in line just after AIIMS and JIPMER alike colleges, its one the biggest and most advanced health research institute with great facilities for students and faculties to interact.Another thing that made me chose this college was the student teacher ratio. Each batch has 50 number of students.This ensures better learning and teachers could give proper attention to each and every student . Regular semester exams r undertaken which help us to go through our syllabus properly. And teachers here r very student friendly and approachable. And in this college u get more clinical exposure than any other college in north east!!

A short review on NEIGRIHMS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose medicine because I love helping others. There is enough faculty for 50 students, the number of seats is likely to increase soon in the coming years. Each student is known by face and name to the teachers and so interaction is very social and good. Every semester has its exam and it was easy to pass if you are attentive in class.

Admission:

Admissions for MBBS course is via NEET UG examination. Students also must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in their higher secondary education. In general the cut off is set at 96.67% in NEET. After counseling i got admission in this college.

Remarks:

Fee structure,basic infrastructure, college administration all are best as compared to any medical college. Teaching and labs are good. There is no negative remark about this college, it's excellent in all the criteria for an ideal college.

Eligibility of the course was quite fair. It was based on NEET-UG result and quota. Application form, fees and dates were all available on the college website which could be easily looked upon. As mentioned there was a reservation benefit in terms of quota seats (for example, Northeast quota, all india quota, mizoram quota, nagaland quota, etc.) There are 4 exams total (2 internal exam, 1 pre-university, 1 professional/university exam). The exams are quite fair, and challenging. But unlike other colleges, the gap between two papers is too less. There is no gap between two papers of the same subject, and there is only one day gap between two subjects. The gaps should have been increased for better performance in the exam. To improve the admission process, there must be guides who will help the new students to do the admission process with ease and to avoid silly mistakes that occurs when students do alone by themselves....Read More
