Course Curriculum Overview

Data science has a lot of demand now. We have many projects to deal with real world situations. Three exams per semester which is good enough. Faculty could be better.AL and ML is also included in the course.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

AWS, Accenture, TCS, Microsoft are the major companies that have visited our campus. Around 50 internships have been recorded last year. To get an internship you have to stand in the competition. Most of the offers are from IT sector

Placement Experience

Placements are just average. Pre placement offers are also available. Due recession this year placement percentage has decreased. Average package is around 15 LPA. Around 90 offers have been received.

Fees and Financial Aid

The complete cost of education here is around 10 lakhs which is decent. There are scholarships from the government. Campus placement is average. Internships opportunities are also good. There has been no change in fee structure.

Campus Life

There are clubs run by students which are good for socialising. Petrichor is the only techno cultural fest. Petrichor could be better. The campus is located in the outskirts of the city. Kerela food doesn't satisfy the taste.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good. They are within the campus. Mess food is not so good. Washing machine is provided in the hostel. Hostel and mess are just average. Hostel environment is good. Meals are not good at times.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

JEE is the entrance exam. It had two sessions of JEE main and one session Advanced. Counseling was done by josaa. It was a month's process. It was tedious because they were many colleges across the country.

the course , the first year its easy syllabus , its just basics based on what you learned in high school , but in a more advanced way. the only flaw in the curriculm is the lack of application level questions all the exams are just theory based questions

Students typically become eligible for campus placements after the 6th semester .however the placement team encourages students to start preparing from the second year onwards by improving skills and participating in internships ,hackathons and coding competitions to improve their profiles Companies that visited for placements. 1. Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull
