Course Curriculum Overview

Our circulam is of with new technologies in which various new technologies are being introduced , thaught and done in a practical way for ech and every student.They focus on practical development rather than the theoretical.we fo atleast 4 lrojects in the course

Internships Opportunities

Mostly all the companies come for the placement frives offers the intership . And the student when gets the offer he need to get noc and can go to company for work. The depertment gives the noc and exam would be online

Placement Experience

This year due to layoffs there are not much opportunities as our seniors have. This year not more students get placed over all the branches. I am focusing on the offcampus drives by learning various types of technologies

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is based upon the cousre we are taling .for me it is 95000 because i have taken the cse with specilization .general cse. Fees is 80000 .but for the specialzed branch it is 15000 more we need to pay.for scholaship we need to write the cucet conducted byt the cu. In which based on the scores we are going to get the fees benfits

Campus Life

There are lot more events are going to happen throughout the year .in which there are some sports events and cultural events and competition are going to happen .every semister we are going to have the atleast 2 event

Hostel Facilities

The hostel was good with daily cleaning the rooms and the hostel wardens are strickt and the rules are being followed by the all hostlers and in each room there ar various seater based on student interest food is average

Admission

The entrance exam is Cucet In google on the offlicail Online cu portel There is Sports reservation in the college It is about 90 min of exam of maths ,physics and chemistry subjects .it is of medium level and there is the criteria for scholarship avail based on the scored No suggestions for the placement process

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
