Likes

Mess it mostly good but having same menu for 3 years has made me loose interest
Hostels are really good considering all the colleges I hv seen
Faculty are really supportive and friendly if u develop a good relationship with them

Dislikes

College is too small and sometimes it feels compact, like a cell
They don't let us review our final year papers so we can see whether it is corrected properly
I as a third year student don't like going to mess as no change in menu for 3 years

Course Curriculum Overview

The fact that this collage is considered best for persuing information science and engineering attracted me towards it. And is actually good, the course is tough, the teachers are strict with marking scheme and it's not easy to score marks like any other branch but most job offers are taken by ise students

Placement Experience

College does provide with college placement and we have a placement cell too which works on that. For internships you can directly talk withbthe senior professors for guidance and reference and they will provide you with necessary. My plan is to get a job and start working and I will complete my masters while doing job

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees is around 2.3 lakhs for outside Karnataka students and 80k for Karnataka students, which is very concerning. Mess fees is 35k / year and hostel is 100k for new students this year so it can be considered expensive

Campus Life

Anadayanta is annual fest which is considered best in karnataka.apart from that there are several other fest organised by different stream students like architecture and fashion technology. Several sports are also played like cricket, football, basketball,etc and we have all teams competing from Bangalore colleges

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are very good considering hygiene and luxury. With daily cleaning services available but we have only one Hindi bathroom per floor but it's never concerning unless u are late for college and it's an emergency

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

Cutoff for ise branch is 6950 and no reservation but there is management entry and entry is simple and 1 day process.exams are not so difficult but tricky and we have 3 mse and 1 see every semester mse for 30 marks each and see is 100 each

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
