Everything will be good and it's normal. Not all the professors will be same, not a day will be the greatest. There will be impatience and happenings but I can assure that it's REALLY GOOD TO BE HERE. And let me tell you, if you're studying Zoology here, you will remember the excursion for a lifetime.

This is one of the most prestigious colleges you can find in Kolkata. Who doesn't want to go to the college where Swami Vivekananda studied. Beside that all famous history, this college always maintained it's quality of education. One can find Every type of help he or she needs from the professors. And in my opinion, one of the best you can find anywhere else in Kolkata.

I would say great. In my department I can tell, professors divide the syllabus given by the University and each and every professor teaches us the course with great care and responsibility. A few teachers also take surprise tests and believe me, it really comes as a surprise. There is also peer teaching method which helps a lot for learning. And before the final test, we have 2 qualifying tests for final.

It is, I Would say expensive. In my case, I had to give almost 20000 for the first year course, the fees become less for the consecutive years. That time it was expensive for me. Yes, it is expensive but there is opportunity for really meritorious students for free studentship as stated above.

Yeah, their are scholarships provided for meritorious students who show their skills in studies. The free studentship is given to those students who are economically weak yet promising to the field. And Christians has a lot more opportunity as a student and their excellence in their study fields. There is no loan facility in here.

Yes. There are lots of connections between the students and their alumni through social media, workshops, seminars and many others.

One has to appear in two tests before appearing in final test for university. These two test determines if the student is eligible for giving the upcoming final. The labs were large and full of equipment with helpful staffs. Teachers were very guiding and careful about every student.

My name was on the merit list for the course of Bachelor of science in Zoology(Honours) at 36th position as I secured a good marks in my higher secondary examination. And I was selected for the course on the day of admission. I had to give ?13,330 rupees as my admission fee for the 1st year. There were about thirty students that were selected during the all day long process. And some others on the second round. It was cleared that there is only honours courses that are taught in the institute. Nimpata course is allowed. That means if someone fails to maintain marks for honours, they either will be given a chance to repeat of leave the college.

More than one can ever ask All of them are very experienced and great in their regarding fields. And they help A LOT. One can anytime go to their professor of interest and can ask for any doubts for clearance. They conduct a lot of extra classes, doubt clearing classes for the betterment of study. These techniques are always great. And there is proper guidance through every chapter you will go through.
