What Students Say

Likes

The faculty of the college is very nice and fair. They are very helpful.
The campus is very neat and clean. There are many trees and park. In short clean and green college.
There are many sports indoor and outdoor. There are special ground for the sports.

Dislikes

I dislike one thing that the semester fee is taken before 2-3month of semester starting.
There is no outing before 12:00pm if you enter the college
To wear the college uniform for two days in week.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is according to my choice and as per my future plans. So don't have any curriculum for my decision. Also my parents are too supportive they support me everytime. According to me practical study is more effective than thoery. So, according to me more time have to give for practical study rather than theory.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 95000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Now I am in the 4th semester till now there are no internships after the compeletion of the 4th semester our internships will be held. So there is no any experience about the internships.so I can't share any experience.

Placement Experience

The placements session are derived from our college every year. For preparing the student for placement sessions there are special classes for that. Students are get placement according to their knowledge . Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, google, adobe and many more companies are there.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college tution fee of my course is still stable from my admission. It is 47500 per sem. I didn't get any scholarship. Also don't have any campus employment undertaken, including job roles etc. I am completing my studies from my parents income. There is no any other source.

Campus Life

There are many festival and events are organized by our college. Like every indian festival is celebrated with fully joy. Specially Parivartan event is my favorite because It is held once in a year. Although freshers party is organized by the seniors. My college life is going very good.

Admission

After passing my senior secondary with Non-medical stream my sister suggested me to visit CGC Landran for the Admission. Then , I visited with my parents the admission Counslers told us 75% is mandatory for the admission in B.Tech.CSE. I scored 82.4% then I filled my prospect and reserve my seat with ?11000. After month later I payed my remaining fee. Although the admission process is very easy and also staff is very cooperative.

Good campus life with decent academics

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in computer science so I choose this course to learn programing how the code works in computer. Student ratio is 22 in class. Teacher are well qulified and there teaching method is easy to understand. There two term exam in 6 months and these exam is not difficult

Real myths and facts

I choose this college because the placement opertunity is very great as compared to other colleges .As college has attend the naac A++ gradation which adds another reason to join this college ..another reason also be that the the college is near by my hometown and I would be beneficial for me to stay with my parents and add new skills to me .its is the only college that I have applied for and got admission directly in the college . Honest CGC Landran review

The admission process is easy the eligibility is around 80% or 75% in boards that's it with PCM. There's was a registration fees of 11k when I enrolled and I'm not sure about now and no further fee for admission and this registration fees is included in the tution fees later, there are no college admission tests here, and they do not enroll a lot of students but it is collaborated with CU so a lot of students sits for placements ....Read More
