Chandigarh University Overall review

The course curriculum is good. You will be busy for most of the time but you will also get the time to enjoy. The course curriculum is made according to industry but sometime it is too busy so you have to learn time management. The faculty are the normal level not too good or not too bad. If you want to learn and explore you will get many opportunities for that

College do provide internship opportunities but it is upto the skill of students to get the internship. College provide you a way for the internship. Every semester we have a project subject so that students get job ready

The campus placement are average. The average package is around 6 lakhs. This year due to recession the placements were not that good but even though around 800 students got placed. From semester 6 students become eligible for placements.

The semester for me is 1 lakh 6 thousand but I have a 30% scholarship so it gets reduced and i think this year the fees got increased to 1 lakh 20 thousand but they will you scholarship so it will get reduced and you have to maintain 7.5 cgpa for the continuing the scholarship. College do bring companies but it is on you skill to get placed. This year around 800 got placed

The campus life is good. The infrastructure is very good . You will get almost anything you want and they organize event often so you will get to enjoy the campus life. There are sports facilities available and there are many clubs which students can join. Almost every block has it's own library but the labs are not that good

The hostel are good and the mess is also ok like the food is eatable meaning it is not that bad and not that good but they have many canteen so you can eat from there. You can register for hostel from the website of the university. As for affordability I think it is ok compare to other colleges hostel and you can rent a room or pg nearby if you don't like hostel

First you have to give the exam of University which is know as cucet. On the basis of cucet you will the scholarship for the course you have chosen. You can find the application form on the website of the university and fees is 1000rs. There are some benefits of reservation you can look for them on the website.
