Campus is so satisfying and there is opportunity everywhere when you look at it
Education system is too good,if you'll pay attention it is pleasent for result.
Extra opportunity are there to explore the life and passion

Dislikes

The extra crowd which I personally don't like
The language problem which I faced here .
The hostel food I personally get bored of same things

Course Curriculum Overview

CSE is something that enhances our creativity and basically it is all about students knowledge,gain and exploring new things.. Is is hard if you not pay attention to the lectures and if you'll pay attention it is just normal to gain good cgpa

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 144000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fee is 240000 per semester but through cucet and mains result you can avail scholarship upto 100% officially but if you'll look into it you can get good scholarship not just 100%.i have taken many events organisation and made it possible so nicely.

Campus Life

Beside of education there is so many opportunities are there ,there are several clubs, programs and all these which helps students to explore and enhance their capabilities.They can show their talent in publicly.

Hostel Facilities

It is very satisfying as hostel life is too interesting for every engineering students,they can live their hostel life as they want .we students do enjoy a lot and it is very entertaining to us.it is having good meals and all required facilities are there

Hostel Fee: INR 138000 per year

Admission

Cucet entrance exam and based on mains score , admission process is taken .all the details are available on cucet web page .there are 2 mst and 1 est in each semester and this is all about examination process.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

My college experience as a fresher

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
