Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to get addmission in old IIT and as per my rank in jee advanced I got a seat in IIT ROORKEE in general category. The curriculum is quite hectic and interesting at the same time , the people and environment of IIT Roorkee make you a tough person for real world challenges. Every semester there are two exams- mid sem exam and end sem exam.
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies be it multinational companies or top companies of India with gives you intern in different fields with monthly stipend of 50k+ atleast! You can do web development, ux/ui design, DSA, quant etc.. to grab a good intern opportunity.
Placement Experience
You're eligible for campus placement in last year of your college and you'll get on campus internship opportunities in the 2nd last year of your degree. There are 100+ companies visiting every year for placement. Average package is 20 laks and highest package goes to 2cr+ per annum. 90%+ students get placed .
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee is decided by institution and it rearly have any fee hike. complete cost of your degree will cost around 1200000 but you get plenty of scholarships here so your degree can be completed nearly in 5-6 lakhs given that you get those scholarships.
Campus Life
There are two fest namely Thomso (cultural fest) which happens around November and cognizance (tech fest) which happens around march. There are 100k+ books in our library for every subject. The classroom are built with high-tech facilities. Sports facilities are top notch with national level coaches and equipments.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms have bed , lights and chair . Meal quality is good with lots of options to eat. Hostels are very affordable and you'll have to live inside the campus only. No day scholar are allowed due to security reasons.
Admission
You should qualify JEE advanced to get a seat in IIT ROORKEE with decent rank. Every documents related details is available on IIT roorkee website, and there is you'll have to pay a certain amount to josaa for seat allocation later the amount will be adjusted in your college fees. Jee advanced happens every year and in order to qualify for it one should first qualify JEE mains.
