Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is great. I personally liked the course structure due to the efficiency of each modules and the topics. The course is based on the real life experience and methods which makes it applicable to the real world. The faculties are very good at making things easier so that the students can understand better and apply the same.

Our college has a vast variety of opportunities in the part of interships. Exim bank, RBI and other companies have opened their interships opportunities in our college. Every year many students from the university are taking part in the interships

Placement Experience

The college consists of a seperate team which is mainly focused on placements. The students who are at the their final year are eligible for the placements. The main companies are RBI, government of Karnataka. 90% of the students are getting placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees are not increased but decreased for the bsc but for the msc the fees are increased. The complete cost of my full bsc+msc is almost 8 lakh including mess fee Ssp scholarship and exim bank scholarship available

Campus Life

The infrastructure are very advance and new which makes it attractive and approachable. The campus life is very good with quality living in the hostel. There are various club and members who manage the social activities in the college. The availability of books and journals are vast in the library.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are very good , they provide 24/7 wife, hot water and food. The meal quality is very good and tasty. The hostel fee are very affordable with fee upto 30k. The rooms are very spacious and environmental friendly.

Must complete 10+2 : 65 % Entrance Exam : CUET Application form is in the college website and the application fees is 500 For Karnataka students they have 60 percentage reservation in the college I personally didn't like the listing process

Positive experience with internship training

Likes

The principal is very supportive and helpful to students. The management listens to student problems and guide us. The college campus environment is good.

Placement Experience:

The college also provide basic placement support like career guidance, interview preparation, and skill development program. After completing my degree, i plan to gain work experience in my feild and improve my professional skill for better career opportunities.

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

Likes

The College Atmosphere, The Students are mostly good and unproblematic.

Dislikes

The teaching staff they're arrogant and unskilled.
Teaching is below the mark for even average as the bar.
Lab facilities are very poor and the condition ia not sterile for experiments

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

Teacher are well indulged , they help you .
Very good area where students get stuff they need.
Provision of canteen and stationery given

Dislikes

Campus is tooo small for a student to even have lunch
Strict and actively don't support in athletics
Sometimes, dealing with admin-related processes like society budget approval or fest dates approval can be slow and confusing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I got admission in 2024 so BCU started SEP Batch which is totally new , and we really don't find any book to refer on the basis where we don't get help as much as we need and it's new , bsc has alot to do .

IISc at a glance: An Institute with a Legacy of Excellence

Likes

Research culture, cooperation and a distinct lack of competition
Active student bodies, cultural groups, regional groups
Friendly professors, good understanding of mental health on the professor level

Dislikes

Bad decisions taken by admin regarding mental health, such as removal of ceiling fans and attempts at coverups.
Apparently Caste Based discrimination. Seems to be a lawsuit right now.
Difficulty with time management in early semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There wasn't really any. It was mostly the friendliness of the profs that pulled me into maths. Do note that in IISc, the first three semesters are common and you pick majors after that. The maths curriculum prepares you for a future in either industry or academia. Moreover, one can take courses in other departments to help their industry pursuits. Only way would be to make some courses more interactive, but this hasn't been a problem for me personally. Most high level courses have two exams. Sometimes not even that. And exams generally aren't difficult for someone who has kept up with the course.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semister onwards students are eligible for pkacements. I dont know about the companies of placements as iam a fresher here. The placements here are really good in this course. After Msc forensic science the annual package in an average here is 2-5 lakhs. Almost 80% of forensic students get placement here. As iam pursuing my bachelors here, iam thinking of writing the entrance exam for NFSU gujarath for my Masters.

All you need to know about BASEU

Likes

Infrastructure is really good, the campus is huge and is filled with greenery
The curriculum is extensive and is based on real world applications
The campus is happening with a lot of clubs

Dislikes

The placements are not upto the mark, could be better
The mess food could improve. It is puke worthy.
Although it is a college, there are a lot of restrictions

Placement Experience:

Our university has a training and placement office for the fourth and fifth year students. Before that you need to find internship opportunities yourself. The significant companies include EY, MoSpi, RBI, NSE etc. The is around 50% placements. The highest package was around 40 lakhs and the lowest 5 lakhs. I plan on working in the RBI after my degree.

The first thing would be our college faculty because they have worked in amazon, snapdeal etc.
Frequent Interaction with founders and co founders of different companies and exposure to new tech
The peer group here is helpful to each other, I love to talk to people here because they always something running in their minds

Dislikes

the boys to girls ratio is low like there is 1(girls) : 5(boys)
I am missing the college life here, coz our campus is literally in building and we will be missing fest and events like other btech college
The hostel is not good, the food quality is very bad

Placement Experience:

From the 2 semester we will eligible to get internships, There were N number of startups like allen, pazcare, 0xppl, only just for internships. there are 50 offers to 50 students out of the 191 students. The highest package for the internship is 1.5 lakh, THe percentage of students getting placed is 45%. I want to build a startup after my degree

It is a reputed college and the course I wanted was available. They were also well known for their extra curricular activities which was something I wanted. It is not far from my location. It is a college from where a lot of my family members have graduated

Getting to know BASEU

So, one of the colleges that i got into was Delhi University. Although its an esteemed college, I have always been a little skeptical about studying in Delhi. Keeping that fear aside, BASE offered this marvellous curriculum which felt like a dream for an indian college. This practical knowledge instead of theoretic mug up made this college stand out. A great college for purely learning Economics

Eligibility for the course is done through CUET (Central Universities Entrance Test) conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) which also conducts JEE mains and advanced examinations. The application would be available from the website (https://cuet.nta.nic.in/). After writing the CUET exam and getting the score for it go to college website (https://www.base.ac.in) and apply for the desired course. Please enter your CUET score in the application form when asked. Coming to reservations SC/ST category reservations are there and there is 60% reservation for people from Karnataka across all categories. There are also reservations under Serviceman category for the students whose parents served/serving in the army.
