Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very pratical and relevant to the current job market. There is high emphasis on Maths and the analytical aspect of economics. The subjects are not just taught but the practical application is taught . The curriculum prepares us for the current market and the future in terms of analytical skills The faculty are very experienced in terms of knowledge and teaching skills. They are very accessible at any time . The exams are conducted monthly and the difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
There are just too many oppurtunities here , companies just keep recruiting , i am tired of doi g so many internships , i feel like i might as well do a job instead of internships , the stipend is so great that students from nlsu thats opposite to our university are dying to get into our university
Placement Experience
From the 7th Semester the students are eligible for the placement . They do a summer internship in the companies . Who oftwn rw ieve a good package from their internships. Atleast 16 companies came for the placements offer and were very satisfied with the students who sat for the placement . The highest package offered was Rs 35,00,000 and the average package is of Rs 10 lakhs . 95percwnt studwnts get placement .
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees for 5 years is Rs 5,60,000 . A average of Rs 1,00, 000 a year . The mess fees account for Rs 4200 per month . Scholarships are provided to the people within a certain criteria . I have guided a team of individual and conducted our annual fest .
Campus Life
There are primarily 2 fest held . One is the annual fest Aurora and the other is Croesoe. Both are cultural fests celebrated in the campus . One in mid February and the other in October. Many sports activites are organised, moat prominent of them is Sportan Where the students of different batches compete in the sports competition . Many clubs are run by by students for eg - Research Society , Quiz Club , Environmental Club .
Hostel Facilities
Room facilities include bed , fan , bathroom , water , food , electicity . Excelent facilities are provided in terms of all the facilities . Mess food is veey good , nutritiuous and healthy for the bdy .
Admission
The admission process is very simple. We simply needed to give the cuet exam and apply for the college . The application form is esily accessible on the college website . The application fee is Rs 500 . There is a provision for 60 % reservation for students of Karnataka State. The entrance exams are conducted once a year through the Cuet which is quite competitive .
