Course Curriculum Overview

3

The Curriculum is among the best in the country, but they don't have the ability to back it up , faculties don't stay for long , every semester we get new professors. The curriculum is great , it makes us job ready if taught right , which never happened. Fixed faculties should be one of the changes , they just leave every year and teach us like that also.

Internships Opportunities

5

There are some companies affiliated but nowadays even they are not coming , so we have to apply for internships overselves but we are more than ready for the job market , therefore we don't struggle much while getting one

Fees and Financial Aid

No reservations for merit , Reservations are only available if an individual is from ST/ST or someone belongs to Karnataka. The yearly fee is 100000 rupees , it includes the hostel fees which is 10000 rupees per year and we have to pay a separate monthly fee for mess .

Campus Life

5

There are some clubs now , when I joined there was nothing , just a single , dying debate club where nothing ever happened , now the quiz club is really interesting , the most happening place in the campus

Admission

I didn't apply to many colleges , i wanted to explore and move out of jammu , that's the only reason I chose this college , you can get admission through cuet ug and pg , you can get in easily , no competition to get in here.

Faculty

1

There is around 1 faculty for 40 students and they are good. Most of them.. I liked Sandeep Ohri Sir's classes , most interesting Real life examples and field trips just awesome I can't really name the faculties I don't like , but there are a few you will know if you get in The exams structure is good , prepares you well for the end semester exams

Night Life

5

The nightlife is cramped in a room with 3 others , it's okayish , but not if you wanna study , if you are someone who wants to prepare for examinations at any time in life , don't come here , it's really bad

Placement Experience:

There is no such thing as placements for now (in 1st year here) but in our second year, we have placement support here. We have compulsory internship at our Second year. We only have 2 batches, 1st Year and 2nd Year. But for now, among our seniors 60% of them hold internships and others are either building something or scaling their skills. For now, we don't have any placement records but according to scaler academy, it will be aroung 24 Lakhs.

Remarks:

Overall it is a nice institute to learn everything about fashion & design. But there are a lot of rules and restrictions as it is an army college and it need to maintain the discipline. It has very compact sized population in the campus which makes the campus life a little boring.
