Likes

Campus is overall good . The first day I came for admission that time I was unaware about whole campus but now it is very well maintained.. The environment is good .
The campus is in the main city only . We don't have to go far away to buy something, everything is available around the college campus.
All faculty are very good .they help students with very good interest .

Dislikes

There are limited hostel in the campus for students. Those who didn't get hostel have to stay in the pg or room near the college only.
Classes scheduled are very busy for some branches in 1st year .
Sometimes the faculty are rude to the students .

Course Curriculum Overview

Because it has a lot of opportunities in mining field as core. All the faculty are good and also under every student problem. Maximum all the faculty had done PhD or Mtech . Two exams in semester are being taken .

Internships Opportunities

Nit has a Summer internship program that aims to introduce engineering students to challenges ,determination and professionalism. Application are usually comes in March, April every year. Companies like BARC , DRDO, HCl hpcl,iocl BHEL,bpcl, Infosys,tvs , Oracle,etc. provide the internship. Around 30 % students recieved the internship in the their third year.

Placement Experience

If I Am not wrong from sixth semester you are eligible for placement .companies come in the end of the third year and recruitment process is begin for non core core field . There are many companies who visit aur college for placement. Such as vadanta , Amazon ,TCS ,adobe ,etc. The highest package was offered this year 2023 is 55 lakh per annum by adobe company. The average package is 8 LPA. 75% students are getting placed this year. After getting the degree I wanted to pursue for higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

As per the government provide funds for management and also there are many seats of fees wavier for low category students which are unable to pay the fees . So I think there is no such hike in fees policy. In nit Raipur the college fees and hostel fees is less as compared to other nits

Campus Life

The campus life is very much good . The environment is well maintained in the college . College focus on social aspects such as NCC AND NSS. There are many clubs and committee in our college : The shaurya :sports committee,The technocracy:the technical committee, Sahyog the mentorship club ,Raga the music club, Nrityam the dance club , Entrepreneurship cell and many more clubs .

Admission

The course eligibility is to score good marks in jee mains and then apply for counseling all helping materials before reaching the college one can find on collegedunia. As per government reservation policy, 50% of seats are reserved for the home state and the remaining for other States which also remains ews,obc, sc, and st. I think all ok in the admission process. The application process is first done by nta to conduct the exam of jee mains, the counseling is done by josaa portal, and special round csab. The dates of exam are 27 to 31 Jan and 6 to 10 April. Two attempts are provided for the students and the best of these two will be used to make rank of the student category-wise. If you have reservations then you will avail some cut-off percentile as compared to the non reservation. The level of exam is moderate to difficult in every shifts. Sometimes it is of very easy shift and sometimes it is of difficult shift.

Truth about NIT Raipur

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is so good as per the stats . Like students are eligible for placements from there 7th sem . No. Of companies visited is around 200 (guess). Offers made 600(guess) . Highest package is 65 lpa , and average package is 9 lpa there are major two roles one is core engineering get role and other is non core data analyst role . 86 % students are placed last year . My plan is to get good placements from college itself and then after experience I will go for MBA or higher studies .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is very outdated and here the facilities more practical and they believe that if you want you can do other field like non-technical fields and something like government exam. There course or syllabus is not industrial ready.

Affordable government college in Chhattisgarh

Placement Experience:

Internship for the third and final year students, but not paid mostly. Placements are very few, don't expect placement from any government college in Chhattisgarh. Work on your skill. Companies like Adani came for placement for Mtech mining students. Highest package is of 3.5 lpa, He works in Bangalore. Other students do master. I am working in my skills and I will try for off campus placement or I will go abroad for master or job.

Placements are offered, companies come to college to offer placement, but obviosuly not all students get placed, Only handful of students get placed at good package of around 6~9 LPA And many get normal mass hiring jobs at TCS of 2~3 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview:

Currently in 1st yr so I have not explored much. But my inner feeling says I am in the right place and in the right branch. There are so many club and community which gives us a real world applications. Course curriculum and teaching method are good Classes are of 50min.It starts from 9 to 12:20 then from 2 to 5:20 . Morning timing is generally lab and evening theory classes

NIT raipur at a glance

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd year.If you need any information regarding the placements you can visit the college official website,there will be a list of companies visited the college in a particular year and statistics of the placements. The average pacakage is about 9LPa for chemical engineering.It will be differed when it comes to CSE,IT .THe highest package this year(2024) is about 53lpa . Many of the students will get job offers during the campus itself and few people remain jobless and they get prepare for off-campus and few opt for higher studies. Almost 80-90 percent gets placed in the college itself irrespective of the branch.

The college was established in 2009 and is therefore still growing. The staff and facilities are working very hard to create exceptions and achievements. As the college is comparatively new from others. Therefore, more hard work can be seen in the part of faculties. This gives students studying now a great advantage to learn and gain more.

I applied for all the nits an some of state colleges and I got confirmation from bit mesra , coep pune , nit nagpur. But I chosen this college due to chemical engineering branch and the placements stats . Ya I got rejection in many colleges like nit Rourkela , nit bhopal , nit surat , nit suratkhal and many more due to my rank in jee mains . Life of Master of Technology at NIT Raipur.

I applied for NIT raipur because thids college comes under national institute of importance by Government of India. This is very good institution in India. I got confirmed admission from IIT Bhubneswar for PhD, but I did not join there. I choose NIT Raipur other than IIT Bhubneswar as because it is old and it is providing me Master of Technology degree, rather than PhD. Yes, I got rejection from IIT Bombay, wehere I applied. I was not able to make it there because I could not score well in my GATE examination, which is required to get admission there. For admission in my college for pursuing the Master of Technology degree, you need to appear for the GATE examination. After you qualify the GATE exam, then on the basis of your rank in the examination you will get seat in IIT/NIT/other college for admission through CCMT counseling. Life At Nit Raipur

If I talk about other colleges then I also give viteee and I'm getting vit easily as per my rank but the tag I want is from nit so I choose this over vit.After getting nit Raipur in jossa or csab you have to report physically on the day they called u and verify your documents.
