Student Plaza is the best thing for meeting and interaction
Clubs are an essential part of your life in manipal do join one
Labs, lab classses are the best in my opinion except psuc lab

Dislikes

Classes routines, the day starts at 8 so you really need to live on less sleep
Perm time is till 10.30 for first years and 11.30 from 2nd year onwards
You cant order food after 12 because everything closes in manipal

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is dividend into two cycles Physics and chemistry. Chemistry is more of learning and physics is more understanding both are good and there are labs for concept building. The exams take place on epad.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 340000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees is 3,40,000 and Mess and hostel combined cost around 1,00,000 but it depends on the room you choose. The living cost is normal with all the daily needs you can get at SP. So mostly it's on you how much you want to spend.

Campus Life

There are 2 main events that are Revels - Cultural Fest and Tech Tatva - Tech Fest and there is also MES - Manipal Entrepreneurship Summit. This year we saw Aman Gupta is Mes. Sports are good I must say if you really wanna do sports Manipal is really good.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is average. Rooms are nice but it is basically which rooms you take if you are going for attached then that's totally how you keep it but in common bathrooms they get cleaned every day except sometimes and you have to pay for our laundry so keep that in mind.

Admission

Yes took an entrance exam MET, you can find everything on manipal.edu website and can apply for examination when the open. The exam is not that hard but there is one thing that you can't go back to the answered questions. The exam is 3hrs. Campus is nice and there are 5 messes to choose from and different hostels. Do take hostel 5 or 6 as they are quite close to the classes and SP but if you want silence you can take block 10.

AN ABSOLUTELY PAISA VASOOL COLLEGE TO BE IN.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum seems to be a little outdated as we were following the VTU syllabus. But since 2024, our college has become an Autonomous College and since then, most of the outdated syllabuses were replaced with newer, required contents. And we have exams regularly, every month. This helps us alot in preparing for our final exams.

From 6th semester students eligible for campus placements, japanese and boeing are visited but from aeronautical engineering japanese gave only one offer but boeing 0 offers from aero.highest package is 66000 per month and average is 25000 70% of the students are getting placed After getting the degree i would like to do job

Course Curriculum Overview:

Out of the box i am not learning anything except the exam study materials. Everyone are like CGPA matters a lot but what about skills ? I felt like being a bookworm is something useless and in this real world its not necessary

Teaching methods should be change. They should teach from the scratch in every subject. So that students can eadily able to understand the concepts and implementation in real world. The topics they cover in class is not very detailed and facing difficulty by students for understanding.

So after 4 th sem campus placements get started and many companies have visited our college like microsoft,wipro, reliance AI,etc.The average package is 18lakhs, and the highest package is 27 lakhs per year.

Placement Experience:

Again as it's a new campus a very small batch of students have made it to the final year as of now. It seems that the first batch of students have the highest package of 50lakhs from nvidia, and the cse department is having an average of 14L per annum

Open Spaces giving birth to Creative Minds

It is spread over several acres, hence giving a lot of creative freedom. Love the breathing space in the campus. The infrastructure is excellent.Good library, canteen, medical facilities, cyber cafe, parking facilities.Finally, I would recommend Dayananda

MIT Manipal owns engineering!

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. So it is tough as engineering seats in MIT Manipal maybe high but competition to be in top 1000-1200 means competing with nearly 100k students....Read More

MIT Manipal is awesome!

For B.Tech courses, Manipal Entrance Test is conducted by the college and students on the score and ranking are alloted branch. CSE and AI are taken by top rankers and then mid rankers can take our branch. However, first choice is always with the students. MIT Manipal is super tech savvy!

In MAHE or MIT Manipal the university only accepts their own entrance scored as JEE qualifications and all have very limited seats.
