Campus of the university is very big and is neat and clean also . Medical facilities are also there for any emergency.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is very well designed for the engineers . You will be studying digital electronics and physics and maths in your very first semester. Syllabus is not that much difficult. You will score good if you study daily and revise what is told in your class

Internship are offered to the students but still we are in 4th sem so we are not that much aware of the company which take students for internship. But each year our senior join various companies as an interns and they get PPO

Placement Experience

Placement record of the college is very college as average CTC is in between 5-6LPA and highest is above 60 LPA and more than 300 companies visit college every year including Amazon , Wipro , Infosys, cognizant and many more . Placement percentage is above 90%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester fees vary for every student as your scholarship will totally depend on your Cuet score . If you will score less than 7.5 cgpa in any of your semester than your scholarship benifits will be removed and you have to pay regular fees .

Campus Life

Various fest are conducted in the campus . Holi festival is celebrated with very joy in the campus and various heroes and singers are invited for the fest in the college such that student can enjoy their campus life and they don't feel stressed.

Hostel Facilities

There are several hostels like Zakir A,b,c and many more and they have 1 seater room also and 2,3,4,5 seater also including ac and non AC . A mess is there for the entire building on the grond floor and quality of food is very good . Gym and laundry facilities are also there

Admission

You must score 60% in your board exams and in order to get into Chandigarh University you have to apply for CUET exam basically it's and entrance cum scholarship exam through which you can get scholarship. I got a call from their admission department and she told me Everything about Chandigarh University.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
