Course Curriculum Overview
the area of curriculum that inspired me is the automobile industry attached to the mechanical domain and the evergreen world of mechanical . although the old teaching technology lacks the application based learning and further it relys on the mugging all the things, more laboratory exams. the areas of improvements can be by the revision of the syllabus.
Placement Experience
students become eligible for placements from 7th or 8th semester although many a students starts internships from 6th or 7th semester although a few find it frok 3rd or 4th semester too. there are many companies visited like tcs, deloitte, wipro limited, microsoft, googlre , adobe ,etc. the highest salary offered in 2023 was 75 lpa and the average salary was 17n lpa and lowest was 11 lpa . with a good rate of 80-90% student got placxed at nit raipur. my plans is to geta good placement above 20 lpa from the starting ownwards
Fees and Financial Aid
The rates of college fees has seen a rapid increase it lacs. the scholarships lies under various categories such as general below 5 lakhs, st , sc , obc , below 1 lakh income as almost general with below 5 lakhs get 2/3 refund or they have to pay only their 1/3 of the original amount . the campus employement is quite good when compared to other colleges and the mechanical domain has espically seen a better growth from7.77 to 9.66 lpa per annum from past year to this year
Campus Life
the fest includes the esummit conducted by the e cell i.e the enterpreneur club of nit raipur it conduct a good e summit in our college in the month of november right before which was avartaan the technical fest of nit raipur now recently on 9th feburary the fest avinya 2024 was conducted by the i cell innovation vell of the nit raipur furtherly upcoming is the eclectika the cultural fest of the nit raipur scheduled on 23,24,25 feb conducted by the team sanskriti after which a robofest will be conducted by the team robotics and tedx event will be conducted by the team tedx and several various events will be conducted by the various other clubs and commities. we have a central library in the college which have a good collection of the books. the classrooms facilities are average. the extracurricular activities here are below average level.
Admission
As the criteria for the admission in nit raipur for engineering is to crack the jee mains examination and i was able to crack it with a rank of 50010 and with general category home stated i was alloted nit raipur mechanical engineering by the josaa round 2 counseling and it remains same upto csab round 2 the eligibility is that one should have 75% in 12th sstandard with physics , chemistry and maths . the application to enter in the course college is through the nta website ntajeemain website where one can register for jee mains examination this year as jee mains was conducted on january and is scheduled on april for the second attempt jannuary 24,29,30,31 and from april 4 to 15. the difficulty level is quite tougher than the cbse board exams and it rrequires a lot of practice and consistent hard work along with question practice.
