Course Curriculum Overview

4

I don't have that interest in coding and I tried doing it but was not good at it. So had some curiosity about the chipsets computer and different electronic components so opt this course. Curriculum is updated still there are some old syllabus and subjects but course has most of the things required , our own input is most required. Course curriculum should have more latest tech and industry required things , testing process is good. There is continuous assignment, midsem ,Endsem and labs. Difficulty level is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

4

I am not still appeared for the internship in the college but the internship is compulsory and it has a decent stipend from 15000-100000. Mostly companies has the easy assignment given and have to complete it in a semester.

Placement Experience

4

Placement starts with the third year(7th semester) after internships for one semester, internship are compulsory and provided by college. Good no of companies visit college campus last year 150+ companies visited Microsoft, Nvidia, cognizant, TCS,Wipro are some of them. Highest package offered was 30 lakhs for 5 students for my course and the average package is 8 lakh with many offers above 15 lakh percentage is like 192 were placed among 240. Many students ppt for higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

Hikes are there but they are not frequently and the hike is not much. Total cost of my course is around 4.5 lakh for four years, there are scholarship, college and private also for that they consider many aspects like financial conditions. We can apply many of them college let us know about it time to time.

Campus Life

4.5

Collage has many festivals like 102 big and small ( vishwakarandak, vishwatechspectra Melonge) festival they are continuously doing something for students. They are done in a span of a year. As the college is old and running for many years it has lots of books ranging from old to new it is easy to find and book within the library. Classroom still has benches but each classroom has projectors good ventilation, a decent size. Many events are there for sports almost all sports are played . For extra curricular activities there are singing, dancing activities going on other activities like communication skills improvement clubare there. All the clubs are run by the students only.

Hostel Facilities

3

Different rooms (5,4,3 bed options are there) goog storage options, decent washroom table for each bed, most important is the space per person is good. Meal quality is not good, it is very oily and spicy sometimes it is tasteless. Verity is missing in the menu. Registration process is very easy just to fill a simple Ford and it is expensive, you can get a room rented with friends at low cost or a PG. The area is average it has all the required things like hospital medical shops nearby.

Admission

Addmission is done by CAP rounds after MHTCET and there are spot rounds after that. My admission was through CAP rounds then I visited the college and took admission, it was a easy process. Eligibility are according to MHTCET and the cutoff percentile for different rounds, application form, application fees, and application dates are done after the allotment is done by the MHTCET cell, College has all caste reservation and fee benefits. Exam are not that hard don't have any pressure about that most of them are online. Addmission was easy but it should be completely online instead of offline visit to college for admission

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
