Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course(Electrical engineering)out of curiosity and interest and I am glad I made this decision. Electrical engineering has become the best department in my college for consecutively 4 times and I know why just because the faculties here ,the learning techniques the knowledge we gain ,the practicals we do and everything about it is amazing and worthwhile. I m still not into the deep learning of my core branch so I m getting more and more curious about it day by day.The difficulty level of mine semester papers is medium to hard and the frequency is twice a semester for theory and twice a semester for practicals too.
Placement Experience
My college placements are satisfactory. Yes ,some of our seniors are suffering because of recession but the placements are real good .All.the good and main companies visits our college noticing the fact that we are nit raipur and chooses their candidates wisely. My plans are going for tech and non core job for right now..yes I enjoy being in and learning electrical engineering but I have always been. Fond of cse.
Fees and Financial Aid
I m in a college which is directly linked with the central government so there are many opportunities for scholarships by government ,college and companies too.The fee structure is based on the family income and divided in three categories. I haven't applied to scholarships yet bit there were many I could go for. Based on my family income my tuition fees is approximately 29k .
Campus Life
Being in nit raipur ,I m proudly accepting that we have so many opportunities to develop our personalities in many aspects. Our college is having around 30 to 40 clubs and committees in every field and they all are very active.being a hosteller in campus has always been one of pros for me to grow learn and improve.
Hostel Facilities
My hostel facilities are very basics .Not very extraordinary but not too bad too....We have clean rooms ,electricity always ,mess food is good,water is good,we have laundry facilities which are chargeable, furniture provided is in good condition ,we have common areas to study and many more things and I m satisfied with all of this. Hostel fees is fine but sometimes I feel mess fees is more than it should be but still it's nice
Admission
Admission process for this college was quite frustrating like for any other iits nits but worth it.Choosing one college from 13iits 31 nits was a big thing ,deciding the branch too.i prepared for 3 yrs for the Admission examination of this college(jee mains/advanced) ,it needed concentration and consistency which was alot hut now when I look back I don't regret any of this. Getting the required percentile for Admission in this college and for a good branch was hardworking after that we had two months to decide where we are going in the online Admission process (josaa)which had so many things from document upload,document verification fee payment and choosing our list of colleges and branches.After the end of josaa we had csab which were another round of counseling for the vacant seats left out. Then we had to do physical verification and after that here I am regretting not a single decision of mine in this college
