Likes

college is autonomus because of that syllabus is developed according to the future scope.
There are various clubs is in our college because of that we can take part in a activities that we are interested.
most of the teachers are phd holders and labs are well maintained.

Dislikes

college duration is too long .it is about 7 hours.
college campus area is small. small ground for playing sports.
college is very strict about attendance. attendance should be more than 75% or you have to go through compress term.

Course Curriculum Overview

Rscoe is the autonomus college that's why it's curriculum is made by the college itself . curriculum is made by the company's like tcs. because of that college focus on the ongoing technologies . By the help of of practicals we understand the real time application of waht we learn. my suggestion there should be more practical than theory lectures.

Class Size: 78Course Fees: INR 63500 per year

Placement Experience

After 6th semester we become eligible for the placements.There are many companies visits our campus just like tcs,veritas ,capgemini , cognizant , ENY , neutanics etc. Highest package provide by our college last year is 30 lakh ctc. Average package provided by our college is around 4-4.5 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

fees for the open category student is 113000. In this tution fees is around 98000, development fees is 14000-15000. I am an obc student that's why i have to pay only half of total tution fees which is around 64000 tha i have to pay to the college. other than that 1500 for the exam fees. for NT students 15000 and for sc/st student 190 rs is the college fees.

Campus Life

There is a one big annual festival gandhrav is taken by the college .that time sports competitions are also there and project competition also taken by the college. Each deparment take their tech festivals saparately. In library all types of books which are needed are their, wecan also access the ieee journal.In classroom their are smar tv's for teaching.computer facility also provided in each lab.many clubs also run by student just like shashwat social service club,e-cell,rotract etc more than 20 clubs are their.

Admission

In rscoe there are various degrees are provided mba , b.tech, mca, pharmacy. I am an enginnering student for cs,it you should have attemt mht-cet . In this entrance exam you have score more than 94 percentile for branches like cs and it. reservation also provided for category students. two main exams are one is mid of the semester and one is at ent of the semester. difficuty level is moderate in these exams.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
