Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is a little hard but one can easily sail through it by knowing the right way like how to approach and solve questions,etc. It provides about a gross idea of how things really work in real life and it feels good about knowing all sorts of things. The course curriculum is rather very rigorous so studying it requires some time in 1st year but I know one can do it. The exams are not so difficult.Once you have grasped how to really tackle time management and studying,one can easily pass it.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee is like just above 1lakh per sem for a GEN/OBC candidate. For SC/ST students it's around 40-50k per sem. And also it is calculated according to annual income of parents. Complete cost of education varies between 4-8 lakhs for 4 years. There are numerous scholarships available after taking admission in NIT. One can take some responsibilities like clubs and earn some money through it
Campus Life
There are mostly 3 fests in NIT R. Innovision, Cosmopolitan and Nitrutsav Some are tech fests while some are cultural and ethnic fests.Mostly these take place in October, January and February. At library there are around 1 lakh books to choose and read from.One can issue a book by checking one's Id card The rooms are well equipped with projectors and digital boards as well as traditional chalk boards. For sports there are a wide variety of choices.Swimming,Football, Cricket,Volleyball,Basketball,Handball, Kabbadi,etc are quite common. The clubs are more than 80-100 in number and are mostly run by students.
Admission
To study as a biomed engineer you should qualify in the jee mains exam for admission in Nit. Application form and fees would be found after sitting in the JOSAA and CSAB rounds for councelling. Reservation benefits can be found both at cutoff marks and also during annual fees payment. Each year has 2 semesters and each semester has 2 exams: Mid-sem and End-sem.One can easily score 8+ cg if one pays good attention at class and solves pyqs. There are some generic subjects and also the syllabus is quite old so it needs a bit of renewal
