Faculty is good. Placements are good enough. Good support from the college management

Extra curriculum is not encouraged. No sports facility. Campus is so small.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Education course here is fine but needs a lot of improvement in the extra curricular activities area.The sports area needs signifcant improvement as the area to play is very limited and the time given is just one period in while week. The faculty is satisfactory but would be more better if inclination is towards practicle teaching.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like service now,visa ,PayPal and many other offer internships. They conduct coding round. If you pass you will have an interview. It provides good opportunity for internships. Mainly service now .

From 3rd year 2nd semester, you are all set for placements. While doing your 3(1) you will get many opportunities for internships. Companies like wipro,service now, visa .the highest package is 1.3 cr from google California. Avg package is around 6-7 lpa. A good percentage of students gets plaved

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure here looks under the acceptable permission given by education government. But other than that looks a bit questioning.The bus fees fees is costly,for me it was 32000 for a academic year. I think the scholarship opportunity is less here.When I tried to apply for central scholarship here there was a lot of waiting and chaos.but after following everything at last the accounts department said you didn't get any message you will not get scholarship. MY whole hard work gone to waste.

Campus Life

Only 2 fest ie freshers and euphoria. Few tech fests also takes place. Euphoria is conducted in even semesters. Our college provides a good library. Our class rooms are smart class rooms. Labs are also good. Poor sports facility. Swayam is a club for entrepreneurs.

Admission

My admission was through ts eamcet. Application for eamcet is online and the exam as well. Eligibility for the be course is 10+2. And get a good rank in eamcet. Application form is provided by the official website of ts eamcet. Reservation for the backward class and sc/st. There Will be full fee reimbursement if the candidate got below 10000 rank in the exam.

Life at RIshi

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from year 4. The companies that usually visit are TCS, Capgemini and MMC etc. The college supports students by providing both technical and non technical jobs and any other uncoventinal career support upon request. Students aspiring to pursue education abroad are also provided with guidance and support.

Good college to join for study

Placement Experience:

So coming to placements they will provide good no. of placements if we have skills and keen of intrest to learn new things and grab oppurtunities. Also our colleg has NACC and NBA accredation there will be more companies approaching our college and taking students for placements and trainging. TP CELL will give its 100% in placements pushes students forward for various trainings and placements. Basically placement starts froms 3-2 mostly form 4-1 where students go to attend interviews and attend exams. companies like Infosys, Wypro, My schools, Infotech, and many MNC's. every year almost 150-200 students will be selected for placements. average package will be 3.0 - 4.5LPA and the highest package is 7.5LPA . their package is decided by companies according to the role they applied and thier level of skill. 45- 50% of the students will be selected for the placements. My plans after getting the degree: If i got selected in placement its well and good i will proceed further with the placement i got incase if didnt get placed i will try of the jobs and then shortly start a business.

Rishi Campus :- Worth a try

Placement Experience:

Our college has good placement opportunities. We are eligible for campus placements since 3-2 or 4-1. The highest package offered is 14 lakhs and the average package is 4 to 5 lakhs. 85 to 90% students get placements and others are also provided with other opportunities. We have got NAAC and NBA accreditations so we have more scope for placements now. I plan on getting a job and continue my MS.

My college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very particular in choosing my course ie- computer science engineering. My aim is to become a software engineer, so I was very passionate about the course since my 10th. I find this course is very good but the point is it focuses on all the areas, but for an engineer the main point is computer courses. If this part is focused more then it will be useful.

since vasavi college one of top 5 college is our state, i preferd it and it have an good avg package in my branch comparing it other colleges. i compare my colleage with other in terms if infa structure, support,and our college is transpernet in terms of placement and admissions . and our college wont allowing nri cota so its an merit based college. so in our college students can acuire seat by 2 ways .one is by geting good rank like below 10k in tsemcet or else getting good rank in jee mains. so they will be spot adidmissions also based on jee ranks at end of admisssion. so i got for kmit - csm before getting admission in this college. since vasavi have good infra and palcements i prefered it. yes i got rejections form vnr college. since my rank is little higer than the cut off i got rejected....Read More
