Course Curriculum Overview

I choose BE - CSE ( Bachelor Of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering ) as we all know how the world is going online . So demand of IT Engineer is more as compared to some other engineers . And Chandigarh University provides good placement as compared to some other Private University i.e. I choose this course . Faculty student relation is good and decent . Qualification of the faculty is up to mark. There has 2 mid term which has held after a month of regular classes and after that ther is End Term Examination. TO PASS the exam , There is non such issues regarding passing the exam .

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 106000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Cost to study is depends upon the course in which you enroll . As in My course fees of 1 semester is 135000/semester + 2500 examination fees . Name of scholarship is Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test.

Campus Life

There is soo many Fests and Events are organised in The campus . So, You Enjoy a lot . Per month at least 3-4 Big events are organised in each department .So After getting admission You enjoy a lots. LIBRARY is decent but not soo good .

Admission

Eligibility of the Course is 12th Pass in PCM with atleast 70 %( Aggregate). On its official website of Chandigarh University i.e. - www.cuchd.in. If You are from outside (Not from India ) Then You can got 50% flat scholarship on your tution fees which is soo good. Also There is a scholarship test of Chandigarh University with name Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test ( CUCET ) .From this test You can get upto 90% of scholarship on your tution fees based on your score in CUCET. Call Support.

Interview Experience

There is a scholarship test . Through this you will get scholarship for your upcoming semester fee. Test is in online mode .Topics for this test is of your 12th standard. First you have to give this test and after that you can directly get admission to your course by paying your first registration fee and after that you have to pay your semester fee . I was revised my 12 th syllabus twice and practice the important topics .

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
