A pretty nice place to get your pharmacy degree.

I personally wanted to be in the medical line as my father is also a pharmacist and I know about some drugs from my father's pharmacy. And I did want to know about how the drugs work. So I applied for the neet exam to be a doctor but I couldn't get good marks due to lack of preparation, then I decided not to waste my years in applying neet exams and I decided to join the Bachelor in pharmacy course. One of my relatives recommended this college and I was surprised this this out of town college is pretty good, like their magement, buildings and the faculty members are great. The professors are friendly and approachable. There are around 50 to 60 professors and they are too friendly and helpful. All the faculty members are well qualified (M. Pharm, most of them have PHD) in their subjects. The professors teach their subjects in a friendly manner, with proper explanations and examples, so it's easy to understand for us. As we are taught the subjects well, the exams get easy to attend.

You can get internship opportunities through the college, but you will have to talk with the teachers about it. As the institute is new and far from city, the chances are low. But some companies are willing to give you internship opportunities on the basis of your performances. To be honest I haven't known any of such cases more than twice from the college, but it is possible. And it's not totally impossible, you can get roles like in Ouality Assurance and Control Pharmacovigilance etc. Under reputsted personnels.

The placement system is good here, from what I know, that many big brands like cipla Ranbaxy mcleods GSK Glenmark Dr Reddy and many more brands are recruiting freshers from this college as their employees so there is no doubt about the placement system is good here. Teachers are helping to students about their careers here from teaching atticates to teaching subjects so that the student can go to a good place for their career in 2023 around 10 to 15 students out of 55 students got jobs through placements and that was the first batch (2019-23). So the average is around 20-25% it's pretty low, but that was only the first batch I hope it will go higher as per the students are great. The highest package a student got there was around 5 lpa and the lowest was 3 lpa, and the average was 4 lpa. They got their jobs in companies like hindustan laboratories, Ranbaxy, Mcleods etc. To be honest I also plan on getting a great job from here, after I get my degree.

The fees hike is around 10% each year for new students. And when I joined the college, I had to spend 407000 as my total course fee, and nowadays its around 480000 or something. Don't worry if you are short on money, you can get through WBJEE exam councelling if you can good marks there, you can get upto 75% scholarship of the course fee. And another one there is SVMCM. You can get 60000 rupees per year if you have more than 75% marks in your 12th board exam. In case of other problems, you can always contact with the faculty members and the director, they will help you. The placement is also great here. Many big brands like Cipla, Ranbaxy, Dr Reddy's etc. are recruiting fresher employees from this institute.

From my personal experience the life at the campus is great, as the seniors are friendly and helpful. There are sports club and other social clubs for your extra curricular activities. The annual fest and sports tournament in February are very enjoyable. You can participate in indoor games like chess, quiz speech, and virtual games (free fire and BGMI) and incase of outdoor games, you can play cricket, football, badminton, tug of war, vollyball etc. in sports. The fest programs are very enjoyable with everyone. There is our GCP sports and social clubs at the college, and it's run by the students of this college. And the students can get many books and top journals to read on pharmacy subjects, which are available in the library. The librarian sir is very friendly. You can attend seminars, tree plantation programs, participate in competitions, blood donation camps and other social activities for your extra curricular activities, which is also important for MAR points.

This institute has its very own hostel not far from the main campus. The rooms are pretty neat and clean. The food provided comes with variety and well maintained hygiene the meal is great. Even the hostel has its very own playground, so that the students can enjoy. As for the registration you have to cost 5000 rupees as registration fee along with the rent 5000/month. The electricity is almost always available. And I forgot to mention that the hostel is totally ragging free, so the freshers don't have to worry. The seniors are very friendly and will treat you like their brothers. On overall basis the hostel life experience is great here.

The eligibility criteria to apply for the course(B. Pharm) is to attend the competitive exams like WBJEE and JEE mains exams. If you are good enough, you can get admission through the councelling. And if you can't do that, don't worry, you can get through management department, although it will cost a little more than average. You can find the application form at their website. The admission process is smooth and fast. You must consider the institute.
