Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is same as all other premium institutions in india like iits and mits the course pattern is same but the method of teaching is different and for a semester avg.there are 7 subjects and 2 labs including electives

Class Size: 170Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Placement Experience

In 3rd year there will be an internships and in fourth year we get selected through placements I'm pursuing EEE so for our brach it will approx 12 lakhs per annum 94 percentage of students gets placementmy plan is to start a startup

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is different for different income based peoples there will a scholarship for st students NSP we can apply through it and in starting year they provide laptop for the students which helps a lot

Campus Life

Life at campus is different when compared to other colleges more than studies there will an extra curricular activities tech events robowars We having lot of clubs like mathematicia ,aeuroaunwhite,IEEE

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are provided according the studing year for first years there will be of 4 roommates and for 2 nd year and 3 Rd year the room is allotted for two and whereas come to final year which is crucial there will be only one for room mess is good hostel office will be there

Hostel Fee: INR 24000 per year

Admission

I got admission through jee main percentile we can apply for jee mains through its own ministry website te application fees is approx.300 and the dates held in March may mostly reservation wee available for lower caste people

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college. Accordind to NIRF rankings this is the top 27 Engineering college in India and top 3rd NIT. Admission process is only through JEE Mains Exam. You need very good percentile to join this college. Nit Calicut very good placements too....Read More
