Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course because I was interested in computer science, the teachers are very nice (most of) they teach good very well supportive , the exams are held thrice per semester 2 mid term test and one end term exam

Class Size: 40000Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As I am studies in 1st year so the jobs and internships are provided in 2nd or 3rd year easily and students easily earn money from these internships and running their monthly expenses and getting independent

Placement Experience

As the students are eligible to appear in placement is 3rd and 4th year,as many companies visit the campus like good,infosis,Amazon, Microsoft,vipro and Flipkart like many more but my paln after degree is to handle the business

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a provision of scholarship with the entrance exam ,you can clarify that exam easily and you get the scholarship accordingly to students score but the official fee's is 120000 which is some but High

Campus Life

As the many fests take place in campus like Tashan nights and hacthlon technology fare which are extremely useful and enjoyable for students and college also provide certificate for participating, which are used in placement to get jobs easily

Hostel Facilities

As the food is good in hostel according another university and they provide the internet connection facilities to every hosteler with their beds which help them to study easily and as they also give study tables to particular person and give imideate facilities

Hostel Fee: INR 106000 per year

Admission

Good University for placement and needs approx 60 percentage in 12 very good internship and placement opportunities but there is a lot of crowd here so you will have to work your way up if you want to make full use of the opportunities

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
