their assignments are the nightmare. management is the main issue in this university i must say they need to improve their management in terms of solving the student issues

Course Curriculum Overview

CSE is famous in Chandigarh university , basically it's a trademark course for the university to earn their source of income, also they are doing very good things for the students who are opting cse inside CU . They have numerous tie-ups. above 100 companies. placement is quite okay

tcs and wipro generally come here for the placement process but now IBM is also here because of the tie-ups they have with CU and now they are offering good placement and opting cu students here

placement record is average but considering the hype they are providing its definately average. but this university is just unique , we may face the same issue with other universities also so i think considering private its average.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is okay, looking at a private university its definitely good, it is not cheap but at the same time, it's not expensive. scholarship name is cucet, the average cost of CSE 4 YEARS IS 1200000 INCLUDING HOSTELS.

Campus Life

Campus life is versatile and diversity is there also you will see greenery on the campus. They believe in maintaining the natural balance, they keep the environment green and safe also, they take important measures to clean the campus.

Admission

The admission process is quite easy , you just need to fill the form online and thats done and nothing to worry about. After a week or two they will call you for the cucet exam that is the univeristy entrance exam(basically its just a formality )and here you can avail the scholarships there is no such availability just you need do at least diploma or 12th for graduation courses the application form is present in their website name cuims

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.
