Remarks

Our College ground is very small for Cricket and football. So during fest they have to hire another ground. Placement could be improved and apart from that I really like the environment of our college. College management are strict towards ragging and racism. Overall it's a good IT college.

Entrance Preview

JEE main, I opt for this institution because I heard it is the first only IT college in West Bengal. And I want to study IT only. So no other place can better than this.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It was nice. I believe more in training and internships which help for brighter future. Though college help for that too. First, two-semester is same for all may be alternative like someone having mine 2nd-semester subjects in the first semester and vice versa including mechanical workshops, engineering drawing, physics, chemistry which wasn't on later part of the course. From third semester we got our branch subjects like java, c, maths, hu and all. The fourth semester is also a bit same with c++, automata and all. Fifth to seventh sem we have lots of core subjects like ruby, java, operating system, dmbs, algorithm, data structures, digital electronics. In 8th SEM main focus was on final year project and so subjects were making around cybersecurity and cryptography.

Internships Opportunities

Our college tied up with PWC provided internship for this year(2018) passed out batch students. The stipend was around 20k as it is a full-time internship with a pre-placement offer. Also, teachers help to get paid internship as well as non paid internships for talented students.

Placement Experience

3

Placement this is comparatively low as compared to previous year as they bring a lot of companies but none of the companies were a mass recruiter. Maximum recruitment was done by cape Gemini of 37 students. After that TCS which is 21 that too in pool campus

College Events

5

Regalia:- college overall fest Othijiyo:- college cultural fest Techtrix:- college technical fest Game of thrones:- college sport fest RCL:- RCC championship league (cricket) RPL:- RCC premier league (football) Departmental technical events by IT, CSE, ECE separately. Saraswati Puja

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is govt aided so fees are feasible. They include examination fee and also each maximum one to two thousand increases. Fees collected on a semester basis. For every batch, it differs so actual figures can't be stated It's very much feasible. Apart from these fees college committee collect money for Saraswati puja which is hardly 200? each I guess. And every year 1000 for college fest including all four fest till 2nd SEM. And in the 3rd semester it's 700 and in fourth it's 500.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college support tfw students and also clears every scholarship. I personally opt for prime minister scholarship for the central armed police force which was affiliated with our college. Osmania scholarship is also there. So overall a good no. Of student opt for scholarships and loan and its smoothly managed by our college. Our college tied with amcat to allow us to give two amcat exams at around 900 rs

Campus Life

3

We have good and strict anti-ragging team. In IT, CSE and ECE gender ratio is 60:40 But for AEIE and EE ratio is around 80:20 for male: female. We recently include Rotaract group in our college as I'm the first president which provide exposure to do good will and also reach out of the box and make social links and do good will. It also enhances personality. We have a strong culture for co-curricular activities. Every month there would be something that may give the opportunity to participate. Basically most people from middle-class family except few for rich and poor. During technical fest workshops were arranged for languages, robotics, and cybersecurity. Our fests and parties were entertaining too. There is no racism as many students from Jharkhand and Bihar too.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

We don't have hostel but pgs were easily available nearby. In around 4k including fooding and lodging can be done in pg. But nearby flats were also available so it's a bit expensive like 5k include everything and flat cost for 2bhk is around 10k max in nearby areas. So overall living is easy

Alumni/Alumna

Our alumni bring companies as recently they bring companies for MCA students too. They are very supportive and they even attend fest and come college to interact and share their views and provide links to internships and jobs.

Exam Structure

It was nicely arranged and as Theory paper's date were decided by makeout people so I can't say anything it's just they set perfectly. And lab exam schedule by our teachers and it was nicely scheduled without hectic College is the center and generally exam schedules are from 10 or 2 depends upon the semester of examination. Proper gaps were provided between the exams

Admission

I gave jee main and wbjee. Then in wbjee I filled for both the seats of wbjee and jee main. As I'm obc so I got jee main(OBC) seat. It happened in two round. After locking of first round where I get BIET so I waited for 2nd round and so got RCCIIT. I have to report there with parents and have to submit the draft of around 40k that time in 2014 excluding 10k which was taken during 1st round seat allotment. Then I got the admission after submitting necessary details.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum under MAKAUT is quite comprehensive, which is one of the reasons I choose this course. With making the foundation strong in first year with subjects like maths, physics, chemistry and then the core subjects in the later years. In terms of real life application, lab work, project work and projects make us ready for the industry. The syllabus is also alligned with the competitive exams like GATE.

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality
