What Students Say

Likes

Social events, faculty behaviour and placement.
Infrastructure is good in the main campus, but poor in East and West campuses.
Courses provided are very good and future proof.

Dislikes

Infrastructure if bad except NSUT Main Campus.
75% attendance criteria is there. Getting attendance from faculty is not so easy.
Some faculties don't teach as per student convenience.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is future proof as it includes Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Faculty is fairly good and not so strict. All are highly qualified. Exams are always held in time Student ratio is average. It is high (like 1:1) in some branches and as low as 20:1 in others.

Internships Opportunities

Many startups and established companies are there to provide internships at quite good pay. You'll be informed about the internships from the college groups and seniors also. Highest paying companies for internships are Microsoft, Adobe etc.

Placement Experience

Coming to NSUT means you'll get a good package. Average package of NUST is 14-15 LPA. Percentage of students placed varies per year. Highest package is more than 1 crore. Big MNCs like Infosys, Microsoft, Adobe etc. visit for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee for the 1st year is 229000 Rs. It keeps increasing per year by some amount. Total cost of study is between 9.8 to 10 lakhs (for 4 years). Several scholarships are available to avail. Guidance is provided for doubts.

Campus Life

Annual fest of NSUT is Moksha, intracollege fest is Resonanz. Freshers' party is organized. Societies organize many events at regular intervals. The library is quite good. Sports activities are encouraged. Books are available in the college library.

Admission

JEE-Mains is the entrance exam required for admission here. To apply for that, visit jee mains website and register yourself with the required fields. You should be clear with 10+2 classes and qualify JEE Mains to be eligible for admission.

5th sem No idea about those type of companies which visited the campus but didn't make any offers (although it's not possible because It never happened) The avg package offered was 3 LPA and the highest package offered was 40 lpa around and the offer was from Freecharge. Placement Experience:

College placement is one the plus points of our college they offere very good placement and all the big successful companies come to offere jobs.....if you are skilled enough then you can get a decent job.The college provide you opportunities from companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Google , Uber ,zomato, etc . You can sit in the interview for placements from third year and for the internship you can start any year . Mostly the fresh comers are not skilled so mainly in the first they learn skills...but with the second year many starts to get internships .

All about NSUT

I got into this college through the JEE mains exam I selected this college specifically to take admission in the computer science branch as it has great placements over all. Comparing this college to DTU or some mid level iits I would say that as far as placements are considered they all line on the same level and did you as a little bit chiller college life compared to nsuity but yes overall the placements are more or less the same level of these colleges...Read More
