Course Curriculum Overview

My curriculum involves studying about semiconductor and electronic devices such as mobile phones computers etc. This course is considered to be on the harder side of engineering. The faculty per student ratio is good in our collge and the professors are always eager to help students with a few exceptions. Exams are easy to pass if you study for a few days also.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 102000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities is little low as compared to the total number of students studing in the college. A very few percentage of companies offer internship to the students. But the stipend offered by them is very generous.

Placement Experience

Placement drive begins from 7th semester, Till last year the placement of my college was on the highesst size. MNNIT has the highest placement package average among all NITs. This year the numbers took a fall due to recession. Percentage of students getting placed is greater than 90% in almost all the branches. Numbers and total package offered by the company can easily be accessed from the college website.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are on a little expensive side compared to most of the private colleges but is less than iits. There are many scholarship programs offered by the collge to the students like SC and ST category students dont have to pay the tution fees. There is also concession of fees based on the family income.

Campus Life

The college has sufficient clubs and committies but the budget allocation of every club from the college side is little low so they are not able to function that efficiently. Books are sufficient in a very large library. Classrooms looks little old with old school benches and boards. We have projectors in most of the classes but half of them doesnt even work. The facuty member's teaching styles are also old school.

Hostel Facilities

First year and Final year hostels are absolutely fabulous with 7 floor and 14 floor buildings respectively. But the hostels for 2nd year and 3rd year is too small. The room size is too small in which two people share with each other. the food quality for 2nd and 3rd year is also worst as compared to the first and final year hostels.

Hostel Fee: INR 74000 per year

Admission

For admission in my college which is an NIT you have to clear JEE MAINS with a minimum percentile of 95 if you are opting for the lowest branch from general category. Other reservations and branches have different cutoffs. OBCs get 27% reservation 10% for SC and 15% for ST and 1-% for EWS category.

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

GLA University Mathura is Great!

Placement Experience:

Average package at GLA University may range between 5-7 lakhs but one student has managed to get placements of 55 lakhs and that is still the record placement from GLA University campus Mathura. Around 70-75% students are placed every year but I will be preparing for GATE as my ambition are to be atleast post graduate if not a PHD.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Honest Opinion on IIIT ALLAHABAD

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester, many students get into the internship and many gets further preplacement through it. The companies visted are google, atlassian, flipkart, qualcomm, samsung, phone pe etc. Highest package is 1.21CR per annum. Average package is 30LPA 90% students got placed. Private job is the plan after getting the degree. 90% students gets placed.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quiet low at bbditm. The average package of 4lakh approx and the highest upto 15 lpa . The highest package is from the computer science branch. But number Of placements are low. But there is also number of placements in other branches.

MNNIT- A path to Bright Future

One of the important reasons for choosing this college is because of its unique and brilliant placement records. and also it is one of the best NIT in North. Basically I want a college that is not much distant from my state Haryana and should be good also and this alligns perfectly with my scenarios. Talking about the admission process, first you have to clear JEE Mains with a good rank like for CSE your rank be between 1K to 9K . If you want to take admission in this college irrespective of any branch you rank should be under 30K. But this data is not fixed , it changes every year depending on the difficulty level of JEE Mains. and then apply for the JOSSA councelling and there you can keep this college in your choice an dif your rank is good enough, you will get it. Know about MNNIT Allahabad/ NIT Allahabad

With my jee mains rank which was 5000 and along with ews I had two options to choose from... One was NIT Trichy with ece branch and one was NIT Allahabad or MNNIT Allahabad with cse branch. But I have hard that ECE branch is tough in terms of academic as compared to CSE branch.. and also NIT Allahabad was very much mear to my home state that is Bihar. So I considered NIT Allahabad over NIT Trichy. Package was also I reason that I considered while choosing between these two.
