Nitte- A true review

I chose btech because i want to be an software engineer and and my parents proud. Student ratio as compared to other engineering colleges os decent. Its around 3:1. Faculties are very well qualified everyone has a phd and they are very good in teaching except some teachers. We have 3 MSE before our end sems and they are easy to pass of u study 1 week before exams and rest of the time u can focus on other things

Different companies come in the college. Japanese companies are a great attraction they provide quite decent package to students. Our clg also has different clubs. And students have made a humanoid robot which is really good.

I dont have much idea about placements. Our clg provides internship frm 2nd year only. And students gets placed in 6th or 7th semester. Japanese companies are a great attraction in our college. Avg package is around 8LPA due to recession.

The fee for all comedk colleges is same around 245000 per year. Our college also provide scholarship to specific quota students like J&K migrants, armed forces, scheduled castes etc. As of now i dont have much idea about the job opportunities

Our annual fest is Anadatya. Its a very famous one in Bengaluru. Students frm every college come and join us. Last year darshan raval came to our college. The fest happens in the month of April -may every year. Library and reference rooms helps a lot during exams. Classrooms are not so wow but they are okayish. Our college sports teams is very good and has won many VTU tournaments. There are various clubs and we get the opportunity to join them as well.

There are separate hostels for boys and girls. There are in total 6-7 hostels. Facilities are good . And the mess food is also very good but we get bored of eating the same menu every week. Menu includes both north and south indian cuisine. To get into hostel u shld come for early admission as the seats get full so fast. There is aa off campus hostel as well but its not so good as i have lived there tooo. PG's are available in the locality around college.

I got admission through Comedk exam. It is a exam for non Karnataka candidates to take admission in Karnataka colleges. This time cuttoffs were quite normal as compared to last year. I got cse in nitte and my rank was around 7000. To get into a decent clg u shld get a rank under 3k. For application for there is a separate website of comedk
