Course Curriculum Overview

Since childhood I wanted to become a pilot so I opted for aeronautical engineering, The falculty in NMIT is excellent and the facilities are highly qualified, There are 3 Mid Semester exams in every sems which are moderately tough

Internships Opportunities

For internship they have companies like Hindustan aeronautics limited and Collin's aerospace and TATA and etc as per to the project and outcomes they have given to make drones and RC aircraft's and gliders

From the 5 th semester students become eligible for the placements Companies like Boeing , Collin's aerospace, Infosys , and Tata Highest packet was from esc department which was 2700000 After the degree I will do MS

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for Nmit students are For management students the fees is 365000 For Comedk students the fees is 190000-265000 And the fee structure vaires in KCET from people to people as it depends on their scores

Campus Life

The life is campus is chill not much to do but just to enjoy the weather, the tech fest is generally in may there are sports facilities such as badminton courts and football grounds and cricket pitches

Hostel in Nmit is 2 sharing it is good as they provide a vending machine in every hostel, the mess food is moderate and the mene also changes twice in a year , according to me the hostel is expensive and not much affordable the fee is 145000

Admission

There is a entrance exam for management students and for other students there is , they can join through comedk and KCET, Reservations are there only for Karnataka students and the ones who have studied from karnataka board

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
