Nitte review

The course curriculum is nice and would help during placements. I chose this course because of my interest. Faculty student ratio is 7:60. All the teachers of the faculty are PhD graduates and their teaching method is also quite methodical and easy to understand. The midterms happened in every 2 months and they were not that difficult to pass if studied properly.

In aeronautical engineering the companies that visited for internships were Collins and pratt and Whitney and Boeing with a stipend of approx 5000 per month. Opportunities provided here are vast.To be eligible for the internship opportunities one must contain a minimum amount of cgpa.

From the 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placements.Collins aerospace,Pratt and Whitney are few which visit for campus placement.the highest package offered is around 20 lacs and lowest is 3 lacs. Around 96 percent of students are getting placement.

The fees structure is according to the comedk. Campus jobs would be provided in the 2nd year. The fees hike policy is 50000 every year through comedk. The opportunity of scholarship for women is quite beneficial.

Life at campus is great and every now and then some activities would take place . An annual fest named annandyanta would take place in our college in the months of April or March. All kinds of books related to the specific fields of engineering are present in the library and all kinds of journals can be found as well. Khokho, basketball, badminton etc are some of the sports that the college provides to play in.

The hostel faculty is good and the management is also nice . A bed , study table chair and cupboard are provided in the room.the meal quality and menu is also okayish. Registration process for hostel could've been better.

The admission process was smooth and swift and the management was quite good in helping out in the management process. The eligibility of the course was based on comedk results. If I want to see any improvement in the admission process that would be Clarity in the dates and documents during the admission if specified would've been easier.
