My journey: DMS IIT Delhi

Course curriculum is upto date and as per industry standards for most of the subjects. We have well-qualified and well-experienced faculty members. One of our Professors is from Japan who teaches Economics. We have a lot to learn from the course curriculum and faculty members. Most of the faculty members are on Linkedin and LinkedIn can be checked to learn more about faculty members. Term exams are in alignment with the exams of whole IIT ecosystem. Our exams take place along with Btech students. It becomes too much load and a bit stressful. It appears that exams just arrive and there is no time left. But we are learning time management in MBA. We are learning how to handle pressure.

Due to recession, some of the legacy companies didn't come this year. However, we got a lot of new companies like Mondelez International, Google and HUL for summer internship. Opportunities are many, roles are almost for every domain. If you have skills, you develop talent,you grab the opportunity. We get a lot of live projects, internship opportunities and many more opportunities. If you are ready to put your efforts, you will get the fruit

DMS IIT Delhi is known for 100 percent placements. Highest package and average package keeps on increasing every year. For upto date results, refer to the college website. Getting an IIT Delhi tag enhances your profile automatically. If you are talented and have relevant skills, you are definitely employable. We have four semesters. We need to do Summer internship after two semesters are over and we have final placement after completing the four semester course. My plan after completing the course is to do job for 2-3 years and then do my own startup. IIt Delhi appreciates talent.If you have an idea, they will support you in converting your idea into reality. They will help you with your startups as well.

Fees of our entire course of 2 years is 11.2 lakhs. IIT Delhi's MBA is known for giving great return on investment. Scholarship is given to toppers of the MBA Batch. Financial assistance is given. If we talk about campus jobs and placements, IIT Delhi is a hub of great companies and good jobs come to campus.

Life at campus is no less than a rollercoaster ride. Rendezvous is the annual fest of our college. If I talk annual specific fest of our department, it is Parivartan. Books and journals are always available in central library. It is a hub. You can get every book you want. Additionally, we get free Mint newspapers to read everyday. Classrooms are fully furnished and fully aur conditioned. Beautiful classes we have. We have clubs and committees in our DMS, IIT Delhi for extra curricular activities. You can refer to our DMS Website to learn about every club and committee we have. All the clubs and committees are student run. We learn how to organise events, pitch for sponsorship and many more things.

Hostel facilities are better than most of the B-schools as well as Btech colleges. Mess food is delicious and fresh. Rooms are air conditioned. We have gym facilities in the hostel itself. We have a monthly menu of message. Girls get hostel in first semester itself but boys don't get hostel in first semester due to most hostel seats being filled by Btech students. However, luckily I've got the hostel seats in second semester and having great time so far

Admission process of DMS,IIT Delhi was really smooth. The interviewers makeus comfortable. I gave interview of other IIMs as well. However, interview for IIT Delhi was not a stress interview. It was a great experience. I took Cat exam to get into this college. You need to get atleast 90+ percentile to get into DMS. Yes, we have personal interview process after getting shortlisted on basis of our application. Interview questions are a cakewalk if you know about yourself. Be thorough with everything you have written in your Resume. Criteria for admission is based on your CAT percentile, form filling which also contains essay writing and personal interview process. I prepared for my interview round along with my friend. I used to practice interview questions on Google meet. It is always good to have a peer who has same goals as you and prepare together.
