Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is ok. I chose this course because in NITs MCA is a three year course. Faculty student ratio is 1:60. Qualification of the faculties are up to the mark. Teaching method of some faculties is sort of boring. Exams were timely, we need to be attentive in the class as we don't get much time to prepare.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is 140000 for the first year and 137000 for the second year. We can get internships after the third semester. A lot of companies visit the campus and if we have more than 70% or 7 CGPA there are ample opportunities to get placed.
Campus Life
Campus life is quite good at VIT. There is a tech fest called VIbrance which happens around September and a cultural fest that happens around March. There are plenty of books in the library. Classrooms have digital board. Lab and Library have Air conditioned rooms.
Admission
We had to give VITMEE to get the admission. Campuses were allotted according to the rank achieved by the candidate. Eligibility criteria is as follows: The candidate should have graduated with a full time degree from any recognized University with a minimum aggregate of 60% or first class for MCA degree programme. Consistent Record in X and XII std is required. Candidate appearing for their final degree exam/ final semester in the current year are also eligible to apply. Candidates should have completed their final Semester/year exams before the selection counseling at VIT. The candidates need to apply for the exam in the website www.vit.ac.in by paying a non-refundable application fee. There is no reservation for this exam. The admission process is smooth.
