My JEE and other exams didn't go well. Out of all the options that I had remaining, SRM was offering me the best possibility that if I worked hard enough, I can land a job worth the effort and money. People are accepted into SRM via the SRMJEE exam based on their results i.e. their ranks. Courses are restricted to certain ranks i.e. beyond a certain rank you wont be able to choose that particular course. The exams are not too difficult. Chose SRM University mainly because of its strong reputation in engineering, excellent infray,and placement opportunities.I has applied to a few other private universities like VIT Vellore and Manipal University.while I did get a confirmed admission from one,i felt SRM had a more vibrant campus life,better connectivity to Chennai City, and a strong alumni network.
