Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose Electronics and communication engineering because VIT has very good lab facilities and equipment compared to many other universities and some IITs also. The classes timings are flexible and the gap between exams are little bit less

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship opportunities in VIT chennai is good. There are two types of internship in VIT summer internship which consists of one month and normal internship of six months. Many multinational companies like Google, microsoft, nvidia etc would offer internship to students in VIT.

Placement Experience

4

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year. There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

VIT offers a structured fee. There are 5 categorys of fees under scholarship. You will get scholarship based on the exam conducted by VIT. The normal fees is 5 lakhs but if you get good marks in entrance exam you can get fees upto 2 lakhs.VIT has a fixed fees system it does not increase yearly

Campus Life

4

There are two fests in VIT chennai one technical and one cultural fest. There are so many clubs you can join and do social work and lot of stuff. There is a separate student council in the campus you can consult them if you have any issues in the campus. Sports in VIT chennai is not that good because you need to focus more on studies but the sports equipment is good and there is gym in the campus also.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel facility is very good in VIT chennai. There are both AC and Non AC rooms you can choose. There are four options 2 bed, 3 bed, 4 bed and 6 bed rooms. There are four types of mess in the hostel veg, non veg, special and food park. The food is very good and if don't like food from one catering you can choose another.

Admission

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. The admission process in VIT is simple after exam you get your rank based on that you get scholarship and branch after that you need to pay fees to confirm your seat.

Faculty

4

The facultys are very good and experienced. For every 25 students there will be a faculty of your choosen branch as your mentor through whole four year. Per semester there will be three exams. Two mid exams CAT1 and CAT2 and one final exam FA. CAT2 is an open book exam. Other than that you will have digital assessment as your internals. The exams are little bit tough compared to other universities

Night Life

3

There is no night life in VIT chennai because in time for boys and girls in very early. All students must be in their hostel before 9 pm. There is a gym in every hostel block and there are a lot of places to eat in the campus. There is a restaurant and Domino's in the campus. There are more 5 shops life cafes where you can hangout and celebrate birthdays also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect which is great future on IT Field of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course. The curriculum prepared me to solve tough real-world logical aptitude test and coding test. The course curriculum is only based on the theory in several areas. My suggestion is to improve that too in practical manner for better real-world understanding. The frequency and the timing of my exams along with my perspective on the difficulty level is 2hrs.
