Remarks

Our college is having nothing to comment upon. Being the top college in whole India commerce, we have every possible facility for us. Thanks to them.

Entrance Preview

The college is not having entrance exams. On the basis of percentage obtained in intermediate final exams the seats are alloted here. As I scored 95% in my exams so I got a seat here easily.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is nice. As it comes under the University of Delhi so most of the content is derived from its prescribed Syllabus only. It's too standard and well framed.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are not of college's matter of concern. They never arranged one for us. Those who wish to do one can arrange from some sources.

Placement Experience

Placements are there with many national and multi national companies and organisations. They use to set their campus here and mostly all of the students are placed in some or the other company. The average package is 5 lacs.

College Events

Events are organised too randomly. As we are closer to Delhi University, we take part in almost every event organised there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is too reasonable as it is a government aided college. Each year we are supposed to pay a sum of 45 thousand rupees.

Scholarships are given for excellent performance in the field of sports and academics.

Campus Life

Extra curricular activities remain on peak. We use to have a lot of Road shows, Dandiya Nights, Annual Functions, etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are same for us and Delhi University students. They are good with two sharing each and are spacious too.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is something not to talk about here in Shri Ram College as most of the graduates are working in good companies outside and sometimes we get to see them.

Exam Structure

Exams are confined to finals and internals. Each year we use to have two semesters comprised of internals too.

Faculty

The faculty members are very descent and use to be very interactive during the class hours. The style of their delivery is awesome.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I choose this college because it is india best commerce college. It was my first preference and I got it. To take admission in this college you have to give cuet just after your 12th exams. You have to be pass in class 12th exams then you can give cuet. You can only give exams of subjects which you had in your class 12th. After giving exams , some universities release their admission form. You have to fill that form if you want to take admission. As you move ahead with their admission process you have to clear their cutoffs. For bcom hons in srcc the 2025 cutoff was 917/1000. For eco hons it was 910 for general category....Read More

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

So basically i had applied to almost all other colleges in DU, for example Hindu, Miranda, LSR etc. Even non DU colleges, for example St. Xaviers. I got in all of them. However SRCC being my first preferance finally became my destination. I chose it mainly because of the Brand value it has. Same reason that people choose IITs. I didnt really get a rejection from anywhere. Just IIM under IPMAT, and that was because i didnt study too well for the entrance. For the admission in this college, u need to clear an examination called CUET. Thats the only exam. Cut off for B.Com hon goes the highest in SRCC itself, being the most demanded college.
