Overall good the faculties are qualified.The university provides all basic facilities.The college is situated in the heart of Ernakulam.Location is accessible,the university conducts various programmes to enhace students well being

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic as this is an risky job you must sacrifice a lot ,the training here is to make student capable for it,So many students feel unsatisfied with the schedules

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties are well qualified ,they have atleast a masters in their respective subject marine related subjects are taked by marine engineers or captains who are sailing for past 20 years every 6 months are considered as a semester the exam are not that much hard you can manage to pass

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

After 7th semester companies come for placements."Synery" is taking cadets from entrance exams conducted by them.Companies like Fleet management,MOL,seven island etc.are the rest.almost every students got placed with approx 3LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is quietly high but you can avail students loan from the bank scholarship are provided by the IMO and state government of kerala . Financial assistant are given to girl cadets you get stipend of 200 to 700 dollars USD per month

Campus Life

Life at the campus is actually good . In cusat so many tech fest are happened . Somany celebraties come in cusat . Libary are also provided in cusat which are accesible to cusat students .sports and extra curricular activities are also provided in which a seperate grounds are provided.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are very good. Hygiene bathrooms also hygiene rooms. Food are also good in which hygiene foods are given .rooms are cleaned twice a week . Also the wardens also inspects on food. Rooms are of 3 beds

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

12th pass with pcm can apply for this course Atleast 75% is required to attend the entrance examination.the examination is conducted by indian maritime university,who wants to attend cusat university for this course need to appear for another exam CAT conducted by cusat

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.
