Likes

The place, the college and the atmosphere .
The sports facility and marena complex which provides these facilitaties.
The beaches, the clubs and the student projects run by students .

Dislikes

The mess food is pretty repetitive and boring.
Nearest town is 5km away and only means of transport is auto and bus
No ola or uber is availabe here only auto and taxis

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as I was interested in electronics. As for faculty everyone is amazing and well qualified. The student ratio varies across each branch but for my branch there is a ratio of about 1:15 which is great. All of the faculty members are PhD holders. We have only 2 exams mid sems and end sems.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 3500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Microsoft stipend around 50k McKinsey stipend around 30k Jp Morgan chase stipend around 25k And other tech companies with stipends ranging from 20k to 1lakh. Few students even assist the professors in their projects.

Placement Experience

6th sem onwards you are eligible for internship placements. Every single major tech company comes here prominent being Microsoft who hires the most. About 90% get placed rest move abroad for higher studies. Highest package is around 54 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees varies every year but they send out a detailed form for every year and you will not be asked to pay more than that. There are many scholarships available and the details for it can be found in their website it's all very clear.

Campus Life

Campus life is the best if you can socialize well this place is a dream. Surrounded by colleges and various other students it's truly one of the best. Classrooms are well equipped and there are yon of sports and sports facilities. Formula Manipal is the most successful student run project

Admission

It was all very easy and fast no hassle. EVERYTHING CAN BE found on their website. No reservations. No improvements needed as such but they will be changing the exam Creteria for this year as the MET rank will be based on broad marks too

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate 3/5 because we want more systems to do our work as well as labs too,the main thing is we dont have that faculty compare to other department their are only 4 faculty,so they can't even able to take extra class for us ,so this is the main problem in our deparment

Good for you if you want a degree and want self learn

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are no such specific of the curriculum that influenceed me to take these course instead i was interested or kneen to this course., since my childhood I wanted do this course. It's good in terms of virtual world but not for real world. Everywhere there's a need of improvement no practical knowledge is present here no one talks about new ideas not even they think about even some of them came because it costed them low. No such specific difficulty.

The students from the last year that is seventh semester are allowed to attend the placement given on campus. There are not so many campus placement available. Many companies such as tcs, wipro and other companies basically giving less salary compared to other colleges. There are many few students who got placed in the companies through campus placement hence it cannot be trusted completely. My plans after getting a degree is to get a job or even higher studies of possible. The average students getting placed are very low.
