Course Curriculum Overview

Global Business Operations interested me because it opens doors for various profiles and doesn't limit you. The faculty is excellent. Almost all the faculties are visiting faculty at IIMs too. We have semester exams which are as per DU schedule.

Adani, DCM shriram, metlife, times OOH, DE shaw, etc visit the campus for internships. Roles include operations, marketing, finance intern, HR, sales, category, etc. We can avail various live projects to enhance CV.

Placement Experience

College offers summer internship and final placement. American express, EY, DCM shriram, Adani, Times OOH, etc. Visit the campus. In year 2023, highest final placement was 31lpa and 13lpa was mean package. 100% placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is nominal and ROI is excellent. The fees is 80k per semester. Financial assistance is also available. The college offers paid summer internship and final placements. Detailed information can be found on website and linkedin page.

Campus Life

We have an annual college fest, business conclave, alumnk dinner each year. Besides that, various cultural events are organised during festive season. Library is well equipped. Classrooms are also well equipped. All sort of leisure amenities are available. Great room for various indoor and outdoor sports. We have various cells and societies like placement cell, public relations, alumni relations, training &development, finance, HR, marketing, international business, data analytics, etc.

Admission

Application process was simple and smooth. The website is easy to navigate and fees is nominal. All the information regarding application, reservation is available on the website. Total seats available are 90.

Interview Experience

My topic for group discussion was 'social media influencers: are they really necessary?' Interview was based on my educational background, interests, hobbies and aspirations. Test pattern is very similar to CAT. I prepared for the test by brushing up CAT concepts.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

Placement Experience:

The unique selling point of this college would be placement. Big companies come here for hiring and take a bunch if students among them, the students who have completed their first year are eligible to sit in placement Companies like Delloite, Black Rock, loreal, Federal Bank, MRF, and many more visit every year for placement with an average package of 8 to 9 lakhs. The highest package one student got is 33 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is 80-100 percent, depending on the time. My plans after my degree are the same as many students to get placed in a good company with a good package

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

So basically i had applied to almost all other colleges in DU, for example Hindu, Miranda, LSR etc. Even non DU colleges, for example St. Xaviers. I got in all of them. However SRCC being my first preferance finally became my destination. I chose it mainly because of the Brand value it has. Same reason that people choose IITs. I didnt really get a rejection from anywhere. Just IIM under IPMAT, and that was because i didnt study too well for the entrance. For the admission in this college, u need to clear an examination called CUET. Thats the only exam. Cut off for B.Com hon goes the highest in SRCC itself, being the most demanded college.
