Course Curriculum Overview
My primary aim was to get into a national level Institute and i wanted to study physics and may also become a techer in the future. Here you can get great facilities and professors. You can have an awesome college life and secure good grades if you attend the classes and study 1 week before exams.
Internships Opportunities
There are actually so many internship offers for all people starting from the 2nd year itself. So many big companies offer internships and offers as high as 1 lakh per month come here. To avail an internship depends solely on your caliber.
Placement Experience
You may get placed in 5th or 7th semester depending on the courses. A spectrum of companies visit the campus and make offers of more than 1CR per annum, almost all of the students get placed or may go for higher studies. I might chose going for higher education.
Fees and Financial Aid
The per year fees including hostel, mess and other charges is almost 90 thousand. You can also avail a scholarship based on your CGPA. You can also take an educational loan. You will also have an opportunity to sit in the campus placement for Edtech companies or other.
Campus Life
The Kshitij, Asia's largest techno-management fest and the Spring fest, one of the largest cultural fest, are conducted in the campus in the month of january. Here you also get one of the largest library in India. You get great opportunities in every sports. And you can part of many societies, clubs etc under the Technology students Gymkhana
Hostel Facilities
Most of the rooms are 2 shared, there are also 3 shared and single room available depending on the hostel provided. You will have washing machine, heater, and laundry service. The menu is good and food quality is more than Adjustable.
Admission
I am one of the first few people who got into IIT KGP without giving JEE for an undergraduate degree. I wrote National common entrance test NCET, first of its kind featured by the NEP 2020, for integrated teacher education program. For 4 year integrated BSc-Bed degree. You need atleast 75% aggregate in 10 and 12 for general category. NCET is conducted by NTA, the test will be computer based.
